It's bad enough knowing your team isn't making the playoffs. It's another to intentionally walk a batter to load the bases, walk in a run, bring in another journeymen reliever that isn't worthy of the sweat in Troy Percival's jock strap...and watch him walk another run in to basically lose the game. Fun times and shitty to watch.

And you missed my point. As a young pitcher..it plays mond games with you when your defense sucks ass. So he's trying to make perfect pitches on the corners...which led to him going down 3-0...which then led to the cookie

To be fair...that inning should've been one run. But the pitch to Pollack was just good hitting. 93 mph outside corner 4 inches up off the plate

Should be two easy outs and only one run. But, you shift vacating the whole shortstop area and Iglesias makes a garbage side armed throw home

Just so dumb. You have an erratic pitcher on the mound. No need to go for the steal there. You don't always have to try to outsmart everyone Maddon. It was proven on the next pitch.

You might get a good fluke week out of a middling player like Mayfield. But there's a reason he's 30 and been in 4 teams. Same with Gosselin. Same with Lagares. Why do they do this? Build an actual team instead of a AAA trash can. I'd rather watch Adell and Thaiss.
