I don't think he's a genius, I just really like him as a manager. I love the way the team plays hard under him and his personality is hilarious.
They get paid to play hard and if you want personality then Bill Murray would be better

just now on MLB Network Baseball Now. Discuss...

lol who else do you bring in? He couldn't bring in Ross. This team has been to 2 out of the last 3 World Series under him. I love Washington and the way he lets our guys play freely. You can keep Scioscia.
You couldnt bring in Ross becuase? Oh he is designated for the last 3 innings. Um ok...extremely high leverage spot that could decide game and you are "forced" to bring in one of your worst relievers. You must think Ron Wash is a genius...

This is the same thing in 2008-2009 that the Angels were being talked about. Enjoy it Ranger fans it doesn't last long.
Farm depth? Why doesnt it last? it would be of use to LAA right now if they didnt trade it away for Zack Greinke and Dan Haren. Texas has the same young pitchers stepping that LAA could have had with Corbin. They have the same young IF prospect that LAA had if they had kept Segura. your envy is obvious when you call Texas a "hick state." I respect LAA and hope they get back to decent personally...

Blanton seemed like a decent innings eater the last few years. He just cant miss ANY bats these days though
-
Probably his blue eye thingy. Although it might be for best since he can lo longer hit LH pitchers
-
Kinsler and the rangers laughing through 3. Hopefully Darvish gets going

Mark Lowe was at least decent here in Texas except in extra inning or 9th inning spots. I feel for the fellow Texan...

I have had many sinus infections. Yes they do cause dizzyness where I wasn't even able to stay on my feet, but lay down. This is because I mow the lawns and have to do garden work which triggers it.
I think the best way to treat it is with proper nutrition. I wouldn't want to be on meds if I'm an athlete.
I doubt sinus meds are as strong as the stuff that Hamilton has previously used. Just kidding, but yeah its these weird issues that i think other players on the team got kind of annoyed by...

The problem with that is they need a good long winning streak to get back in it. Winning two out of three is nice and all but these guys just refuse to string together more than a couple wins in a row. We may look at the Royals as a bad team but they have had the Angels number for the past few years.
The Royals are about 7 games better than the Angels this year and have a solid pitching rotation...

Same reason us Cowboy fans still talk about the early 90s.
-
Not sure if the guy stays healthy but he was hitting 92-94 with his fastball throughout his 6 innings. took about 2 years but he looks to be finally healthy. good for him...
-
11-22, but its early. A quick 6 game win streak and the team is kinda back. Your teams pitching has improved. Just need the heart of the order to play up to their expectations
-
He hit a walkoff HR versus Texas a few weeks ago
-
Josh still drunk beers and whatever. Its just the silly belief that this guy didnt get drunk and if he did that the media found out...

It has become clear that C.J. just isn't the same pitcher he was for Texas. We are going to be paying him a lot of money to be a 5-guy the next 3.75 years.
Remove his contract year numbers and he IS the pitcher he was in Texas..

The pitching sucks, the offense is cold considering the talent it has. That tends to heat up.
Not much you can do about the pitching, except wait for injured to return.
So, we'll take the Division Leaders, the Rangers. Crude stat, but worth a look. Runs allowed by the Rangers 98
Runs scored by the Rangers 137.
Runs scored by the Angels 129, Runs allowed 161
Only 8 runs scored difference between the first and fourth place teams.
So, again, this is THE month to gain some ground.
And, take a look at the rest of the Divisional games.
The problem is not the Angels offense, its the pitching. Thats 63 more runs allowed in 30 games. OVER 2 RUNS PER GAME...

The 1st place team in the AL West was under.500 back during the last strike year. Maybe that happens again...
-
Darvish with 72 Ks in 43 IP
-
Not too bad. texas and LAA have the same record. Plus its still early...
-
And a lot was blown on a guy who may be done by year 4 or 5 of the 10 years.
I sure hope the rumor is true that he would retire and leave the money, if he can't do it anymore. Although I'm sure the players union would be all over that.
They all say that.

He needs a longer bat. or maybe just use a broomstick...
-
I would publicly show support for my GM, Manager, coaches, and players.
The dreaded "vote of confidence"
-
Add the fact that Hamilton laughed about it when a pissed off Ron Washington asked him why the hell he dropped that ball...
Watch out tonight!

Santana has talent and can shut any team down. Blanton does not and cant shut anyone down. Thats the only defference i see...
