  1. This is why I have a woman that does all my important typing
  2. I don't think most libs do. They just overact to the cherry picking of news stories by the media. Cops need to do better but hiring policies and training aren't good. We need better pay and less EO in law enforcement. We hire a lot of women and unfit men. Lack of confidence, strength, and fear lead to a lot of these mistakes. If we had higher mental and physical standards for cops, some of this could be avoided
  3. True butt hose guys have to walk miles with 150lbs of gear on. They get called to disarm unstable explosives. Robots help a lot but not always. They can wear a beard anywhere they want. This LT is likely a Logistics Officer and hasn't been to combat. He can shave his face
  4. It is strange how the libs hate cops yet love the politicians making the rules. If we had a little more freedom and less laws, it would curb some of the conflicts. Police are just enforcing the laws elected officials make.
  5. Yes and we hope there is a legal remedy. Nowadays the courts have thrown out the constitution so there many not be. As a Christian, I am not bound to follow orders that don't follow God's law. At that point, I have to be willing to follow the Man above and let him him be the ultimate judge.
  6. People seem to discount appearance, organizational policies and norms. I hope most people would have a problem if their wives constantly went out commando in a short skirt. That wouldn't make her a whore but it does reveal a possible need for attention.
  7. As a military Officer, he should have done a quick risk assessment in his head. Immediate compliance would have been a hell of a lot safer. He is damn lucky he didn't end up dead
  8. Pretty sure there is. Even if there isn't, it is good practice to follow orders. Kinds my point with the Army LT. No a mustache isn't a huge deal to most of us. However, it does show he enjoys pushing the envelope with regulations and authority. Most LTs fuck up on the job and get a lot of ass chewings. The last thing they seek is unwanted attention over uniform and appearance regulations. This guy obviously thinks he is special
  9. Yes, we are a nation of law and order. If the cop fucks up and commits a serious infraction, there are legal remedies to fix the situation. Resisting and fighting isn't going to end well for anyone involved.
  10. Come to think of it, 4 of the 5 kids were Mexican or Asian.
  11. There were errors on both sides. My concern is the Officer set a bad example. Soldiers tend to get hammered and quite often interact with cops. A lot of Soldiers are criminals. I don't think this guy is a criminal but he sure set a bad example for other Soldiers. Every private in America now thinks he can drive two miles and act an ass when pulled over. This doesn't help. I was pulled over for talking on a cell phone in Illinois. The cop was a total ass at first. I explained that talking on cell is legal in Missouri and apologized. I handed him my military ID and it turned out his son is enlisted. He wrote me a warning and said my service got me off this time. This guy obviously doesn't have my people skills
  12. True story. I pulled out of a parking lot on post 6-7 years ago. I had a car full of kids I was taking home after practice. Military Police immediately pull me over for nothing. The cop calls for back up. I am then surrounded bu 3 cars and 5-6 cops. They surround my vehicle with guns a blazing. A cop approaches my car with weapon holstered. He says i was swerving so he obviously didn't understand I just pulled into the road from 500ft away. I explained my story and he saw my passengers were kids. They put the guns down and let me go. Now I could have escalated the situation when the weapons were drawn but you have to obey and stay calm. A kid in my car was the son of the second highest ranking officer on post. All the police got some remedial training on their off time. Its all in how you handle things.
  13. That's why you have to put the puzzle together. Civilians don't see it. Military people who understand his rank and position see the contempt for authority. His uniform, haircut, and mustache all say he enjoys testing authority.
  14. It is difficult for non military people to understand the importance of discipline and following orders. This LT drove 1.5 after being told to stop. As an LT, he could easily find himself leading a patrol. When the order is given to stop in place, he needs to follow. If chooses to ignore the order out of fear, there is a good chance someone dies. I wouldn't want this guy leading my son in combat.
  15. This is nothing. The chaplain convinced my Boss to approve a waiver for Thor worship
  16. The Marines are pretty good at keeping standards uniform. The Army not so much. Black Soldiers often have their appearance violations overlooked. Nobody wants to be called racists. At Fort Lee, I watched a black female Soldier refuse to change her orange wig that was out of regulation. One day the top enlisted Soldiers show up and a damn black female CSM was wearing a yellow wig so leadership let it go.
  17. He does. I was about to comment on the LT being chubby. He is either overweight or needs to buy a new uniform
  18. No shit there are exception. I don't agree with the policy but I don't make the rules. His mustache is not trimmed in compliance and the hair on his chin is not authorized. If he has a religious waiver, I will concede. His haircut is also pushing the limits. As a former Officer, I can tell you good LTs don't sport facial hair. Most officers in general don't grow beards. Now SF and pilots play by different rules. Officer assignments and promotions are highly competitive and individuals are ranked against each other. Any LT worth a shit isn't trying to get his Boss's attention over a mustache.
  19. Don't know where this Soldier is but I am guessing he is deployed. You can see he is EOD and tabbed out. Good chance this guy is blowing up dangerous shit and the beard may be needed to blend in on covert operations.
  20. The point is Officers have Command authority and give orders. Every private in the Army now thinks he can ignore grooming standards and fuck with the police. The Army came out and backed this LT but they created a nightmare for the average company CDRs and 1SGs. The Company leadership deal with troops and police issues on a routine basis.
  21. Someone doesn't know the difference between Air Force and Army. Grooming standards are not the same.
  22. I am betting this is a shitbird Quartermaster Officer from FT Lee. Lee has a Basic Training School that routinely feeds the fighting force with undisciplined fucks. The LT didn't shave properly so he obviously has no respect for authority or the leadership position he holds. As a trained Soldier, he should respect authority. He wouldn't tolerate that kind of rebellious behavior from his subordinates. Is it really that hard to pull over as directed and not resist?
  23. No,his mustache and haircut are in clear violation of Army Regulation 670-1. Most decent Army Lieutenants don't have facial hair. The officer is obviously attempting to mentor this young Lt
  24. Honestly, we should have left years ago.
  25. More worried it would highlight the two mexican passengers. I could have been hung for treason
