Here is the deal. I will say it for the third time.

In economics class we would play out scenarios for three to five years. Just to excercise long term thought process. I thought it would be interesting to take the pulse of the Angels collective.

Trout is going to get paid. Period. So financially that point is probably not that high. There systemic issues that factor in more. Say pitchers 3-5, old man Pujols, a depleted farm, etc.

Is there any incentive for Trout to sign long term with the team? Does he want to break his back from carrying dead weight? The team is boring unless Weaver is pitching and is there really any help coming.
