  1. Here is the deal. I will say it for the third time.

In economics class we would play out scenarios for three to five years. Just to excercise long term thought process. I thought it would be interesting to take the pulse of the Angels collective.

And what I am seeing is very interesting. Oh and a liberal feminist, come hang with me on twitter. I'd change your mind.

  2. I don't think we are all panicking. My only interest is starting this thread is to see where the collective mindset is

At a certain point, a GM has to think long term, if he or she is worth their salt.

You don't think the lakers play what if strategies regarding kobe and three to five yeas out?

It is just exercise in future thought that's all

And I still am of the opinion money ain't a thing. Teams will be backing up multiple brinks trucks when the time comes.

  3. So I get in my car after work excited the Halos game is still on and then I hear the score. They are a really bad team and I got to thinking.

Is there any incentive for Trout to sign long term with the team? Does he want to break his back from carrying dead weight? The team is boring unless Weaver is pitching and is there really any help coming.

    What do you think?

  4. Not to be a buzzkill but this tread is like the bitter old man's club.

The game became boring as we got older and more focused on the fantasy, saber metrics, how does the home runs derby affect my batter, ad my starter better not go more than an inning and a third.

All star game is for the young fans on tv and at home.

  5. Let me wade in here. Growing up in a dodger family, as a youth at first it was all about rebelling against the norm in the early 80s. Then somewhere along the lines of Fred Lynn and Doug D at the hot spot I got hooked.

Maybe it was Brian Downing, Wally World, the worthless signing of the Double Dave's, and on and on and on.

But I can't knock the fans who came in around 2002. I've already become that old bitter guy.

  6. You all are funny. I've just begun to wade in on this political forum as I normal use twitter as my platform. Saying Liberals will be silent, I say bollocks. I lean left and you know what, I'm all for it what the NSA is doing.

I see the same people on multiple social platforms distributing their footprint both real and virtually without restraint. All of a sudden, we are in an uproar when the shit has been going down for almost decades. It is all a joke really.

I just don't understand this selective outrage to support a specific political narrative or POV. But that's just me. I will allow for you to return to your normal sophistry. I'm out.
