We just got off sweeping a Judge-less Yankees team, took 2 of 3 from the Pirates and swept the Tigers. Not exactly what I would call running the gauntlet and not enough to warrant going all in at the trade deadline. Not to say they shouldn't have made any trades, just not ones involving your top prospects. They could have had Lorenzen for much cheaper.

Neither one of these clowns can hit outside Coors field but they are upgrades over Padlo & Cabbage. Perry had to make a move with Ward out - I'm just wondering if there wasn't better options out there besides Grichuk and Cron.

Angels signing Bauer gives us a legitimate shot at postseason so I'm all for giving him a 1 year deal.

Can't say I'm a fan of what he chooses to do on his own time, the fact is, he wasn't charged with any crime.

Surprised to see so many people defending Eppler. Tell me, what did Eppler do for our pitching staff over the past 4 seasons he was GM?

2017 - 4.12 ERA, 12th in MLB
2018 - 4.15 ERA, 19th in MLB
2019 - 5.12 ERA, 25th in MLB
2020 -  5.10 ERA, 26th in MLB

Every season it got worse and pitching is the reason why we haven't been to postseason since 2014. He did a great job rebuilding our farm system but in the process wasted 5 years of Mike Trout's career because he couldn't build a decent pitching staff.

Yep, after the Lakers failed to make a move I was still excited about the Angels getting Joc & Stripling and now we get the news today about Collison and find out Arte backed out of the trade with the Dodgers.
