So basically he was lucky? So you answer the question with the latter of my options?

Unfortunately, being on the east coast, I don't see the Angels as much as I'd like. I caught much of last night's game and I thought that Blanton, a few mistakes aside, looked pretty good.
What I would like to know from you is was this an aberration or is this his normal stuff which subsequently gets hit hard?
I saw an excellent curve, good mileage on the fastball and a sinker. With what I saw, it made me wonder why he's been so awful with us.

Trumbo 2 for 4 HR

Aybar 1 for 4 single

Richards 1 inn. 0er

might be worth trying Bourjos in LF just to start things out, not because I believe Trout is incapable of hitting while playing LF, but because covering less ground is probably good if Bourjos is coming back from a hamstring injury.
You guys remember a few years ago when HK was always having hamstring problems? He started doing certain exercises to prevent those problems. You would figure the training staff would implement something like that so that these hamstrings aren't perennial issues.
Didn't Aybar also have a hamstring problem earlier this season?

4 inn. 5 runs
Now I feel guilty. Glad I was wrong and won't do this again.

Still think we should have kept him.
-
Yeah, Frieri looked terrible.

Hamilton 3 for 4 HR
-
Anyone watch it? I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to it next season.

wait til the guys in the simpsons thread get a look at this!
So Tank, has this been out ten years or so?
-
4 innings
11 hits
6 ER
Billy Butler will have three hits by the 4th inning.
It would be funny and refreshing if someone from the opposing team would say, "Yeah, he had nothing."

You can't have an error and a HR on the same play. If it goes over the fence before touching the playing surface it's a home run, even if it touched a wall or a fielder first.
Bizarre.
-
Shouldn't that be an error? If it stayed in the field, wouldn't it be?

I'm not trying to convert anybody to my way of thinking, but I think Cron makes Trumbo expendable. They are of the same skill set, but since Trumbo is more experienced and proven I would assume he can fetch more in a trade.
Is Cron really that good that he can replace Trumbo?
-
Basically, play like they're capable. A long streak would be nice, but just winning, let's say, 5 consecutive series, would give me a lot more optimism that they can get back in the race.

Callaspo 2 for 4 run

Just saw this advertised and didn't know where or if I should post this since you guys tend to be very quick on the uptake.
Still, I thought baseball enthusiasts deserve to know about this if they don't already.

He was out for almost 2 of those last 3 years...
Disagree, Katie. Kendrys should have had a big ovation especially with the last year he had with us.

Thanks for the replies, but you two aren't answering the question. Is this how he generally pitches?
