  1. I guess that's one way to get Rengifo some playing time.
  2. Yep, Bard is all over the place. It's in his head now.
  3. Yeah, I agree, Trendon--and think this quote that Revad pulled is a good example of what you're talking about. His answer seems to be to a completely different question than what was asked.
  4. I think what he's talking about is major league guys from other teams who get released, making them free agents, and then the Angels sign them. If that's not what he means, I have no idea.
  5. I could be wrong, but I think I remember Blum (or maybe another reporter?) saying that requests to interview Carpino were also declined. I can't find it right now, but I'm pretty sure I read it at some point.
  6. Turns out Tepera didn't actually have any illegal substances on him. He got thrown out for complaining about the search itself.
  7. Yep. He's a monster. A child-like, attention-seeking MONSTER, I tell you. Can't wait for the inevitable commentary from folks about how certain questions should have been phrased...
  8. Wow. Tepera ejected for apparently having an illegal substance on his belt/uniform??
  9. Canning out after 4 2/3. Looked good again! Second inning was somewhat shaky, but he got out of it without anything happening--and he was pretty dominant otherwise. Should have let him finish out the 5th, but good to see him healthy and locked in.
  10. I mean, he's REALLY a 3B, who over the course of his 14-year professional career, has played 80 games at SS, 32 at 1B, 10 at 2B, and 2 in the OF. Agree with the point that he's not a 2B, though! Drury has spent much more time there (and in the OF) than Urshela, so makes more sense to have him covering there when needed.
  11. Hocking on Thaiss: "He can also DH." Lol. Wow, what a skill to have!
  12. Probably a bit of both. With those two NOT being with the team, it gives him more opportunities there. The team already knows Velazquez is solid there and pretty much knows what Soto can do at SS, too--so no reason not to give Urshela as much time as possible now to see if he can hack it.
  13. No Drury, so I guess his injury from yesterday is a little worse than it originally seemed--or at least, it's no better than it was yesterday.
