I caught a 42lb Barracuda fishing off South Carolina. When the captain called in to a taxidermist for a price quote, I alsmost shit at the price. I think it was around $800. Needless to say, we threw it back in.

I miss the Hartford Whalers and Quebec Nordiques.

Those made for some awesome road trips.

Nothing beat the thousands of Rangers fans showing up at the Hartford Civic Center, turning it into a Rangers home game. It was nice being the home team while on the road. Used to be we had 4 home arenas: MSG, Hartford, Meadowlands Arena, Nassau Coliseum

I grew up in San Diego and I never knew this.  I just wiki'd him.  A true hero.

Basilone is still a hero here in his homestate of NJ. His town still has a Basilone day parade. There is a bridge, a college dorm, parks, etc... A true hero.

My wife is went to school with Jon Seda, who portrayed him in the series.
