  1. From Rotoworld:

Josh Hamilton had a brace on his right wrist after Friday's game.

Hamilton also had a cortisone shot and is expected to remain sidelined until Tuesday. He has been dealing with a tendinitis-like condition in his wrist over the last 10 days. The Angels don't believe the injury will require a stint on the disabled list. Jun 22 - 9:44 AM

  2. This may surprise some people, but I say trade him.

It's no coincidence Howie is having his best season when the season is already well over, and the pressure is off.  We could have used this type of offense from him last year when the team almost made the playoffs, instead he had a crap year.  He just doesn't play well when the pressure is on, he's just not a championship player.

Trade him while his value is high, but only if you get some value in return.

  3. That pitch to Ortiz was just dumb.  In his first ab, they had him 1-2 and tried to sneak a fastball by him.  sharply hit single

Next ab, 1-1 count and they try to sneak a fastball by him.  3run jack.  How about we stop throwing him fastballs.

Hanson made him look bad with nothing but slow offspeed stuff.  I wonder if there is anyone on this board that would like to weigh in on scouting.

its has more to do with that tard iannetta, he calls 95% fastballs to every hitter, because:

    1. he cant throw anyone out unless its a fastball and he still fails

    2. he sucks at calling games and going over scouting reports.

that is why our pitching sucks.

  4. Left-handed pitcher Hunter Green is one of the youngest players entering the 2013 MLB draft, making him an exciting pitcher with plenty of projectability, but one far away from making an impact at the major-league level.

Green's best pitch is his fastball, as his off-speed pitches need some work. The starter is still growing into his body, which makes some scouts hopeful that he can add more velocity as he continues to mature. The 17-year-old also needs to work on his command, but any team that selects the starter will give him plenty of opportunities to improve.

The southpaw is committed to the University of Kentucky, so he does have the option of joining the college ranks if he does not come to an agreement with whatever team drafts him.

    Sounds like another cj wilson

  5. Howie is second on the team with RISP with a .315 AVG.  Pujols is the only one better at .349.

    4th in RBI

    1st in AVG

    3rd in OPS

    2nd in oWAR

People love to Howie bash but he has been very good this season.

howie's fanboy speaks again.   howie is first in terrible situational hitting, terrible baserunning, and leads the league in errors committed while the game is on the line.

your stats dont tell the whole story do they?
