You couldn't possibly be that dense. You must be a troll. Good day.
Please enlighten me on how this team has improved then? Grant Green starting for Howie Kendrick? An unproven pitcher who has gone 0-3 in the majors and who throws a junk 90MPH fastball?
-
What else did your crystal ball tell you?
It tells me that when your team gets swept out of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion and not only do you not make moves to get better, but you give up your rather good starting 2nd baseman while the teams in your division are improving, you aren't going to do much of anything the next year.
-
Okay.
This team got swept out of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion and not only do you not get any better, you give up your solid, starting 2nd baseman? Pathetic. Truly pathetic.
-
Relax. Losing Kendrick isnt going to make this team suddenly fall off.
Nope but you needed to add talent, not subtract it. Please tell me how losing Kendriks makes this team any better.
-
...................................really?
You've subtracted your solid, starting 2nd baseman and added unproven garbage and your two highest paid players are another year older and further from their prime. Please tell me how this team will be any good.

This team as it stands now won't even make the playoffs. There is MUCH work to be done
-
Grant Green to play 2nd? WTF? We are going from the team with the best record in the majors to a team that won't even make the playoffs this coming year because there will be a bunch of kids and unproven players starting. Giving up a proven big leaguer for a kid with potential who hasn't proved a single thing yet is beyond stupid.
-
Love the direction Dipoto is taking with this team!
You are joking right? We are going from the team with the best record in the majors to a team that won't even make the playoffs this coming year because there will be a bunch of kids and unproven players starting. Giving up a proven big leaguer for a kid with potential who hasn't proved a single thing yet is beyond stupid.

Why would we expect major changes from a team that had the best record in baseball?
Because having the best record in baseball is meaningless if you are going to be swept out of the playoffs by a wild card team...
I don't know why this article is talking about starting pitching. Both Richards and Shoemaker will be back with Weaver. They need to focus on help for that garbage bullpen and guys who can make contact and get timely hits.
-
riiight, and how do you get to the post if you dont play well in those meaningless games...
some of you are flat out spoiled
You do like the Royals did. You play average, barely above .500 ball most the way and get hot a month out. Easy.
-
.......and somewhere on a Royals message board you will find.....Lol @ Angels.
He's right. The Royals were an average team that got hot at the right time, you see it all the time in baseball. Weird sport this is. You are never going to see the Milwaukee Bucks get hot in March and roll to the NBA Finals...Baseball is rarely about the better team winning, its about the hot team.
-
Nope. You never have your 3rd out come at home plate, especially in the WS
-
Regular season is meaningless. Just ask the Angels how much having the best record in baseball and all their great regular season stats meant in the playoffs...not a damn thing. Give me the guy who gets it done in Oct when it matters, not the guy who gets it done in May and folds like a deck of cards when the pressure is on
-
Lol. That's a loser's mentality.
Agreed. Anyone who believes losing in the ALDS to a WILD CARD team is somehow better than taking one of the best postseason teams in recent memory to game 7 of the WS is delusional
-
-
Maybe because he just won 98 games lol.
And then did what in the playoffs? Oh yea, got swept by a wildcard team...No one cares about or remembers the regular season

Yeah, billionaires are always so timid.
Hes buddies with Scioscia and he's afraid to fire him, why else would he keep him around for so long? You can't have a loaded roster and that payroll and miss the playoffs 4 straight years. He should have been gone years ago.
-
-
Please by all means send us a post card from Toronto.
I mean seriously, did no one else see Pujols smiling while being interviewed after the last game saying it's still not over? Who gets embarrassed two games in a row at home by a garbage wildcard team with subpar pitchers and then is smiling while they are a game away from elimination? No heart, no effort, no cares. I can't support a team like that.
-
Screw you then, go get a new team
After the complete lack of effort and heart I have seen from this bunch of overpaid losers this series, I just might.
-
What a bunch of absolute pathetic losers
-
Fickle? He's had a terrible record in the playoffs since 2002. He should have been gone years ago
-
After the sweep, who will still be around next year? I'm fine with everyone going aside from Trout, Aybar, Weaver, Richards and shoemaker.

Yea, a POSSIBLE (if he even works out) mid rotation pitcher for a quality starting 2nd baseman who's already made an All Star team a few years back. Seems legit....not.
