This seems like a move that would be very likely if Perry was not the GM. It has Arte written all over it! Taking on an 8-10 year/200m deal on Bellinger is not the way. Let the Blue Jays take that risky contract, and we can go after Vladdy Jr in 2026 when he becomes a FA.
