I don't get why we always try to sign big name free agents. I can't remember the last time one worked out except for Vlad. We almost always lose when we sign the big names. Hamilton please prove me wrong.
-
Bottom of the inning is setting up for a Hamilton walk-off.
That would be funny as h*ll
-
And we finally won a battle against the Moose. Could our fortune be changing?
-
Is Mathis available?
We have a whole lineup of Jeff Mathis's, Gary Matthews Jr's and Vernon Wells.
-
Does anybody have a good feeling about how this game is going to end in extras?
-
I don't understand why they sent Cowgill when there was only 1 out. Crazy. We are just giving them the game. Congrats KC. You are the better and smarter team. Good luck against the O's.
-
So will the Royals end up with more runs than we get hits? I say yes. Probably 5 runs to 4 hits.
-
That went as expected. Thanks for nothing Josh. Thanks Sosh for inserting his dead bat in the line up.
-
I'm not even mad tonight. I've pretty much accepted this crap. The Angels look lifeless.
Exactly. This is how I feel too. There is much less pain involved now that I have lowered my expectations.

hahaha moose is killing us

Shoemaker doesn't have it
Shoe has been on break for 17 days. Not good. This game can't be treated like a spring training game. Scioscia has to be ready for a quick move to the bully. Or were done.
-
The Royals came ready to play. The Angels look like they are playing a Spring Training game.
Yeah, I think the Royals came into this game and series expecting to win both games in Anaheim
-
I think we ran into a team much like the 2002 Angels. A team of destiny. I was thinking 3-1 Royals. Now I am thinking it will be a sweep. God, I hope I am wrong. I haven't given up. Its just my opinion from watching the 2 teams play. They have a lot of confidence and we look completely lost out there.
-
Trout has had an awful start to the post season. Losing the ball in the lights, and now 0-5, thrown out on a steal attempt. The truth is that we go as Trout goes.
-
It doesn't seem as if Trout is ever going to snap out of this slump and as I say this he gets thrown out at second.
-
Yeah we just got beat tonight. No choke necessary. We failed to get the big hit that we needed and left too many runners on base and our big boppers played as well as a t-ball team.
-
Honestly i was so numb watching this game from the first pitch. My expectations coming into the post season were not high because of how we finished the last 2 weeks of the season. I am not surprised at all by the outcome. KC had to battle just to get in the post season and we clinched way too early.

Hamilton back kills this team. He's useless...and cost the teams runs AND failed miserably whenever he batted
now they are down 0-1 already and have squandered HFA. This series is already on life support. Great showing, Halos.
Yep, we should have spent the money on Greinke.
-
We can all specifically thank Trout, Pujols and Hamilton for their outstanding performance for the Royals tonight.
-
Feeling like '04 all over again. And 05. And 07. And 08. And 09 alcs
Thank God we got 02. I will be able to die a happy man because of that magical year.
-
That Beckham at bat went as expected
-
Hamilton needs to tell Sosh he f*cking sucks and to please start someone else tomorrow. Even though it doesn't even matter. KC going to be tough to beat at home.
KC officially has a TON of momentum. That win against the A's was amazing and now they are beating the team with the best record in baseball on the road against their #1 pitcher. We all know, winning the world series usually comes down to who's hot at the right time. In 2002, everything went almost perfect. I still remember that game against Minn when AK hit 3 home runs. AK was never a home run hitter. That was evidence that it was our year. We were not going to be denied. We were unstoppable. This team with Trout (not good since the ASB), a much lesser Pujols than his contract deserves and a injured and deteriorating Hamilton is not a dominating team.
-
The Royals showed me something in that A's game. I knew that we couldn't take them lightly and I will not be surprised if we lose this series. With us not hitting and them showing a pretty darn good ability to manufacture runs, pitch and demonstrate amazing team speed, they are not a team that we match up with well. Not saying its over, but this is going to be a tough series and if Trout, Pujols and Hamilton don't earn their pay, we are done.

We better win tomorrow or its over

LOL. Another failure. I just told my son that it would be best if Josh would strike out so that he doesn't weakly ground into a dp. My son said that he would definitely hit into a dp. Sosh pull your head out. This guy should not be playing in the most important games of the year.
