I hope Racer X is better than Racer 15.
Mr Ks in Placentia has bottles of "2012 vintage" racer x. Are those old?

This Bells Two Hearted Ale is great.

Crazy how much enjoy by 10.25 is still around.

Do not go to the Paris Buffet or Flamingo Buffet.

HD, the lady was just saying we all need to do Hibachi again.
I like Orange Hill, but it's not a first choice thing. I've only been there about three or four times though.
Grey Stone is in downtown SD. Been there twice and just like the place from atmosphere to food. Had the filet twice and is one of the first things that comes to mind when people ask about best steaks. Worth checking out if you're down there. Good fine dining place.
Speaking of which, it's known for different reasons, but Fox Fire has been a family favorite for years before the cougar den. It hasn't been the same since the owner passed away and the kids took over years ago.
We do need to all go there again. Let's set something up.

If you're talking about Hibachi in Anaheim Hills then I agree! Great teppan.
Yes sir. Great place.

HD, highly recommend that you go to Papago Brewery. They have a nice list of beers, get the Mandarin Orange Blossom Ale they make, it is a really good beer. It tastes exactly like a 50/50 bar.
Angel Trumpet Ale house is also awesome for dinner and good beers. SanTan and Four Peaks are pretty cool too.
I was looking those places up. Especially Angel Trumpet Ale House. Gonna try and make it but I'll only be out there for 2 nights for work, staying by the airport but the convention is downtown Phoenix.

Headed to Phoenix on Sunday for a few days. Hoping to have some Bells Two Hearted Ale and will be looking for Oracle but that's probably long gone now.

What about Ruby Tuesday? Always see the commercials but have never seem an actual restaurant. Figure it's in the same boat as these places.

Nice. They kill it live.
One of my favorite shows involved them:
Every Time I Die
From First to Last (minus Sonny who was just starting his Skrillex dealio)
The Bled
August Burns Red
Human Abstract.....didn't really like them much.
Where was that show?
Only other time I saw them was in 2006 at the Avalon:
Bleeding Through
Every Time I Die
Between The Buried And Me
Haste The Day

Late to the party on these guys. Heard about them for years cause of Chad Price but somehow never listened to them:

Saw Every Time I Die at Detroit Bar once. Great show.

This year: Alkaline Trio (@ Fingerprints, Observatory, HOB), Hot Water Music @ Observatory, Chuck Ragan @ Observatory, Green day @ Fox Theater, Mumford & Sons in san bernardino, Old Man Markley @ slidebar and a few others I'm forgetting.
Going to see The Queers/Teenage Bottle Rocket next week.

Anyone ever had Alesmith Evil Dead Red? Picked one up today.

I really wish Alpine had more distribution

I will be at the Expo release.
Visited Big Dogs this weekend. Great place but the beers were just okay. Tenaya Creek also was rather average but they do make a good dipa.
Freakin Frog is still highly overrated. They had Ninkasi Babylon in their walk in cooler but 44 bucks for a dipa is a freakin joke.
I did find Squatters Hop Rising, very solid.
Freakin Frog is a joke. last time I was there Enjoy By was $25. The guy working said they get 1 case of Pliny a year and its $60 a bottle.

I wish I was. I want to find a couple bottles of Merkin so bad.
The bottle shop by my work keeps telling me they are getting it in but who knows.
-
I was so disappointed with Anaheim Brewery. Guess its more "old school".
