  1. Move: Signing Pujols.

My first reaction: Ecstatic. Finally landed a top player.

    Move: Signing Wilson

My first reaction: Awesome, he was good in Texas

    Move: Trading for Greinke

MFR: We are favorites again. No one can top Weaver, Greinke, and Haren/Wilson/Santans whoever's hottest.

    Move: Trading Santana

MFR: Very good, hopeful he would get us to the postseason.

    Move: Signing Blanton

    MFR: WHY!

    Move: Dumping Haren

MFR: Very very bad move. I loved Haren, he never did anything horribly.

    Move: Trading for Hanson

MFR: Loved it, wished we could have kept Walden though

    Move: Trading for Vargas

MFR: Why couldn't they have tried Trumbo at third again and kept Kendrys, Callapsor sucks.

    Move: Signing Hamilton

MFR: Finally the big bat won't hurt.

  2. So winning 10 of 14 is proof you should be fired?

Last night was nothing to do with him, and errors by the laziest shortstop in baseball the night before. You could say having Blanton still in the rotation, but come on.

Not surprised anything less comes from this group of people though. Can't believe there was no outrage he wasn't fired during the winning streak. Who would you REALLY want to take over? It's an endless cycle. Someone ALWAYS has to be fired, or someone isn't good enough. Always find something to complain about.

  3. Birdman for his flying elbow drop needs at least a 5 game suspension. Make flop fines actually worth a damn, you say one bad thing about a ref, it's $50k. Flops are worse than that, it makes the league look bad. How long until Stern retires and the league can attempt to become respectable again?

  4. See, I find Kauffman to be one of the worst stadiums I have been to. I've been to Wrigley, Fenway, Petco, Dodgers, Angels, Kauffman, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Houston, Coors, and Texas. Of those, by far the best parks belong to the Padres, Pirates, and Reds. Kauffman has either two options, an amazing view, which is field level and lowest sections of the outfield, and then absolute awful, which is everywhere else. The only thing I would wish Angels stadium new or renovated to have, would be the short porch seats like the Royals have in left and right center. This is something every stadium needs. The views are great, and the closeness is amazing.

I have no problems with Angels stadium, but I could see the problems people have with it. The problem with a new stadium (in Anaheim) would be if it's not in the parking lot, you will have no parking which makes downtown stadiums a nightmare. To think the team would have any control over the area if it went to Irvine is laughable with The Irvine Co. around and their tyrannical approach to everything. As long as they don't move to LA, I will be happy. If it were city of Industry, that would be the best of the worst, but they need to stay in Anaheim.

Unless the stadium were to be rotated 180 degrees to offer views of Disneyland, the openness of the modern stadiums is lost. Unless you want to stare at the 57 traffic, I don't know any other option.

  5. There are some great "create a caption" ideas running through my head with that picture, mainly, "go eat a d*ck blue!"

Loved seeing the emotion. Apparently the umpires want replay more than the fans.

  6. Trade him while value is high. If Jeff Davanon can hit a cycle, anyone can. Maybe we can get Kazmir and some cocaine for Josh.

His interview on MLB network was a good laugh. Called him on the "wasn't going for a homer and didn't realize it til the 8th" garbage line. Plus the line "where did your neck go" was mentioned. Awesome to see Trout doing what he does.

  7. He never went anywhere. Everyone here just wanted to call him fat.

Beating a easy double play on a hit and run pop out (granted it was an awful play by the Royals) says he still has that speed. I would fully welcome anything up to a 7 year 100 mil contract extension right now for him.

I wonder how well he can pitch?

  8. This was my first game at the stadium this year, and the Trout avoiding being doubled up b.s. play (seriously how did that happen) it all felt like they were clicking. 4 big homers, Hamilton's was just beast. Vargas was lethal, just a great win. Hopefully a win tomorrow and second straight series win.

  9. All of you can see into the future? Can you tell me the powerball numbers for Saturday since you CLEARLY know what will happen the next few seasons. What happens when Hamilton starts to hit again (back to back home run games and getting to play in Chicago this weekend could mean a few more) and Pujols is healthy. You do know he hit 30 HR's last year and .285 BA is FAR from bad. Health, mental and physical, are huge. Who is to say Hamilton isn't dealing with something, seeing as he has been known to have some mental issues.

Lottery numbers, champions in all sports, and who to invest in please. I could use the money and since there are so many people who know the future, share the wealth!

Also, how much money is home run #500 going to bring in for the team in terms of expanded TV coverage, merchandise, all that stuff. Then if he stays healthy, the march to 700 home runs. He can hit 20 by September. Also 3000 hits will come eventually as well. So he is paying his contract in terms of accomplishments at the end.
