  1. Nope.

Looking at your town Nate, you need to build more houses.  More houses means more tax money.  I am up to 100k right now.

What I'm short on is quests.  But I'm sure it'll come in time.

100k?? Jesus Christ. By the time one of my buildings are done being built I usually need a day to raise the money for a second building for the next quest. My problem though is finding spare money to buy land (as you can tell by my town being squished.

CaliAngel, I added you to the main list. Mancini I appreciate it, I have a bunch of eggs that I'll give you today.I'm about 100 snakes away from Duff Stadium.

  2. haha yep i was going to through a high fidelity scene out there too.

    nicely done.

we still quote that movie all the time: "brother what a night it really was! mother what a night it really... angina's tough."

BWAHAHA by far my favorite scene of the movie

  3. Record store snobs are the worst human beings on the planet. They think they know everything. I actually had one laugh at my girlfriend because she asked if they had some record that he thought wasn't hip enough for his liking. I would have punched him out if he didn't have such massive upper body strength.

  4. Thanks for the invite, but really I'm just a poser when it comes to soccer. I don't follow it nearly as much as when I was in college, worked part time, and had zero responsibilities.

I follow Hajduk only sparingly, and follow the Croatian national team when they play Serbia (subhuman slime), Bosnia, or other teams where the stands turn into the wild wild f*cking west.

Oh, and I have a weiner, in lieu of female reproductive organs.

Welp, if you ever want to engage in soccer or rep your Croat national team, join us.

  5. My cousin sold an album he found at a thrift store for about a grand on eBay. I can't remember the name of the band/record. It was a late-sixties psych group, I think. I'd never heard of the group. I'll ask him. I remember some guy from Sweden or Switzerland bought it. Apparently, my memory sucks.

13th Floor Elevators? Blue Cheer? Velvet Underground?

  6. There's a couple of records I can think of of different genres that are worth a grand or close to it. But usually the most expensive ones I can think of usually float around $500.

Spencer, side note from this thread, I messaged you a while ago about your avatar and told you if you're into soccer you should join us in the soccer thread. We welcome everyone that's into the sport, especially ones that support odd ball non-popular teams or leagues like a Balkan league.

  7. My dad is a big time collector.  When he was out of work for a bit, he sold some of his albums on Ebay and several of them went for over a thousand each, but that is not the norm.

Ebay is actually a great way of finding what those albums are worth.  See what people are trying to sell them for that way.  You will most likely find that the vast majority of the albums are not worth much though.

What kind of stuff did he have to sell for that much?

  8. I'm a collector. Mainly punk, hardcore, folk and blues.

Popsike will help you out though its not 100% accurate on what the market is for the individual record.

You'd have to be specific in almost every record for us to help you out. In regards to your Beatles records, just because their Beatles doesn't mean they are rare or worth anything. Does your White Album have an embossed serial number on the jacket?

  9. Can't wait to hear the new album.

Me too. I actually have pretty high hopes (thought I'm probaby setting myself for a big fall). Just reading the interviews with the band and Rick Ruben. How Rick told them he wanted to hear the sound of their S/T again in their new album. If they can replicate the jazzy/blues S/T Sabbath then I am 100% on board!

  10. Ray, I read something months back that it definitely was Sharon's fault that Bill's not in the band. She's the Yoko Ono of metal.

Nate, it's Tony, Ozzy, Geezer, and I have no clue who is drumming. I wish Geezer and Tony stood up for Bill with whatever happened.

I too thought it was funny and weird that they're playing at the Sports Arena. Maybe they still think it's 1975?
