Nevin is waiting til Estevez loads the bases or gives up a bunch of runs before pulling them.
“Sure he gave up a run, a hit, plunked a guy, and threw a wild pitch but did you see the way the ball was coming out of his hands?”
It’s okay guys. Perry believes in this team and Nevin says they have a good approach at the plate, which I assume means they walk to it the right way.
We are good.
I think it would be awesome to not see Canning and Sandoval in this rotation next year. But I know they’ll be there.
Being an Angels fan is like:
”We are pretty good!”
”Damn, we could make a run.
“Wow, that’s 4 straight. Nice!”
Then we lose like 10 of 12 (which coincidentally will be after tonight) and it’s:
“This team sucks.”
”Fire Nevin (which I agree with).”
”Can the peanut vendor pitch?”
Then we win a game. And everyone is like:
”Maybe we have a chance after all.”
”The games we lost were close. Take away those 9 runs they scored in the 8th and we win.”
“I have high hopes for this team.”
