Yeah. He's going to make at least three times more this year from endorsements than he's making from playing baseball..

''The phenom from Millville, N.J., smiled, dimples flexed. Later he flashed the intensity, his 6-foot-1, 243-pound body chiseled, square-jaw clenched.''
Whoa there. It's a safe bet to make that this chick beat writer creamed her pants when she saw Trout. Sounds like a romantic novel.

What are the chances of Conger beating out Iannetta for the starting catchers job? Has he become better at his defense yet?

How great would it be if Trumbo could turn his first half of play last year into a full season? Hell..even if he turned 70% of his first half play into a full season, that'd still put him at around 35 HRs/.290/.340/.540

It's hard to believe that out of nowhere Howie will become some type of new reformed player at age 29. He is what he is, but I could easily see him hitting .300 this year if he's batting in between Trout and Pujols.

That's not true at all. He's not a bust yet. He's still relatively young. The Angels signed Blanton for 2/15 M. With that type of contract, Richards is not going to be given a chance to beat out Blanton at the start of this year.
If the FO had any confidence in him, we wouldn't have traded for Vargas and would have kept Morales's bat in our offense.
what an enormous piece of crap post. Richards' career is just getting started.
How do you know that? Can you predict the future? What I said probably has more truth to it than what you said. What's more likely to happen..Richards doesn't pan out and at best becomes a solid #5 or, out of nowhere he starts to show some command of his pitches and becomes a top of the rotation pitcher?
I'd actually love to bump this thread in another 2 years.

What an enormous bust. 3 years ago everybody was talking about him having potential to be a solid #3 pitcher, and now he can't even beat out Joe Blanton for the #5 spot.

I hear you, but we've outgrown the rugged phase and wanted to go in a different direction. While this is slender and sleak, it's also feature packed and modern which to me is something I've wanted to do for sometime.
I hear ya. It's just going to take some time to getting used to, I'm sure most of us will be comfortable soon enough.

I already miss the old one. It felt like Bodybuilding.com's forums and seemed more ''rugged'' if anybody catches my drift. This one seems way too slender and sleak, and it's lost it's touch.
