My favorite story about Salvador Dali is he used to go to very posh restaurants and just doodle on his bill and say, “What I have drawn here is worth more than anything in your restaurant” and never pay his tab.
He was correct. (That restaurant must have known it, too, because they have a bunch of his drawings framed in their restaurant.).
