De La Rosa relieved by MRI results; Opening Day return "still realistic" ... http://aldengonzalez.mlblogs.com/2014/03/07/de-la-rosa-diagnosed-with-a-forearm-strain/ … #Angels
Great news. Here's hoping it heals by opening day (or close to)

That's too bad. I always loved watching Petey play. His trouble has been staying healthy. I hope this doesn't hinder his season too much.

Calling it:
Ibanez: 23
Pujols: 27

I really wish that my wife and I didn't fly to spring training last year. It was so quick and easy. It's definitely going to make this drive on Friday feel much longer than it is.

He looked pretty good those first two innings. Things kind of fell apart in that third inning. I believed he walked 2. If he can keep his mechanics in check, I think he can be successful for us.

Good stuff Scotty. Interesting piece. I hope Weaver can keep it together for a couple more years.

Taking off around Noon on Friday. My wife and I should get there in the evening. We'll be there for the game on Saturday and Sunday. Also we'll be there for the Fanfest!!

Very excited to see this. So glad Angels baseball is back!

These guys deserve to rot in jail.

Oh I know, but he is better than Capauno and younger. Would be a great back end guy behind Richards/Santiago and he'd have to battle Skaggs for #5.
DEPTH!
I wonder what it would take to get him. I would have to figure that Lindsey and any pitchers we have are close to untouchable.

Very excited!

The name I keep wondering about is Joe Saunders. He was pretty bad last year, but with his history with the team, I wonder if he would take a minor league contract.

Sometimes I think that Scioscia says this stuff just to rile people up.

That's really too bad. You couldn't help but root for the guy. Here's hoping that the recovery goes well.

Interesting piece
If the Angels do end up moving in the upcoming years, I do hope that they remain in Orange County.

A baseball and Angels legend.
RIP #11

I'm an Angels fan by birth, so you can say that I've been a fan since 1984. It was honestly in 1993 when I became a real fan and it is all thanks to Mr. Angel himself, Tim Salmon. I remember as a kid how much excitement was around that rookie kid. He shortly became my favorite player and I've been a fan of the Angels ever since.
