Now clinging onto my computer for the next low grade pitcher the Angels "might" sign, is just pathetic at this point.  We know the team that will take the field in March for Spring Training.  And honestly I am not more impressed with them then I was with the 2013 team.

You remember Trouts numbers before a full season?   You can't judge the kid on the few big league appearances he had last year.  Look at his AAA numbers.

The dude is a stud.  Give him time.  He is going to make the Angels pay for tossing him.   He has great velocity because he is so tall and even last year the guy looked like he put on some weight.  I could see this guy becoming very dominate.

I would take Brewers farm right now over the Angels.  I have seen both in person.  Brewers hands down.

Wells is my hero.  He is the reason I practice at least an hour a day with my son.

Hamiltontown, honesty I give Jerry an A+ for his limited spending allowance from Arte.   But like I said 3 time earlier, they are not allowed to spend money this year.  Arte makes the rules and he don't wanna pay.

Well outside of Tanaka the free agent talent pool this offseason was pretty weak. Garza is really not a reliable front line type anyway so no big loss there. Jerry Dipoto signed a pretty good reliever in Joe Smith which should help solidify the pen so some solid moves were made without having to go overboard.

I am not saying they didn't do the best they could without spending money.  I am just saying they didn't spend and will not spend any damn money this year.   

Trout is a great player don't get me wrong.  But spending everything on him and still missing the playoffs is just plain STUPID.   

The Angels aren't cheap. You can say they made some bad spending decisions but they're not cheap.

This year they are.  They aren't going to spend any money.  And you can put that in the bank.  

Angels wanna save money this year.  So will I.  TV time.

Told you all the Angels were too cheap to sign Garza.  

In New York, making the playoffs isn't enough. That fan base sees world championships as a birthright.

 

BTW, love the new name and avatar. Kudos for keeping the Tanaka theme and still making a smooth switchover. Very clever.
