  1. We are not able to make it to the Sunday game vs. the Astros on Sept 14. Our two tickets are in section T213, front row on the aisle. This is just above the Diamond Club, so there are no heads blocking you ever. Cost is $117 for two tickets and preferred parking. (This is lower than face value and is what we as season ticket holders pay.) Please send me a DM if you want to know more. Go Angels!
  2. I've sold this game to someone on Angels Win. If you like the sound of our seats, we just might have a game or two available in the second half. IM me if you want to know more.
  3. These tickets are still available. And price is actually below Face Value.
  4. We can't go to Photo Day for season ticket holders this year so I wanted to offer the game tickets and photo passes to Angels Win. The game is July 6 at 12:35 p.m. But first, a few hours before the game, you get to go on the warning track and take up pictures of the players close-up as they come by. (Some of the guys are great to do selfies with!) I've done it twice and it's a lot of fun talking to the players and coaches. Our seats for the game are great: right near the plate, section T213, row A -- no heads in front of you -- seats 1 and 2 on the aisle. We are selling 2 tickets with the photo passes and preferred parking for $117, which is below face value. Send me a DM if you are interested.
  5. We have about 10 games available. They are section T213, front row on the aisle. This is just above the Diamond Club, so there are no heads blocking you ever. Face value is $117 for two tickets and preferred parking. We are flexible on the dates except not Yankees, Red Sox, July 4 or Dodgers. Please send me a DM if you want to know more. Go Angels!
  6. I just switched from BlackBerry to iPhone and can't find an Angels app like I used to have. Any suggestions?
  7. This is very cool. You can compare any team to any team by position. http://graphics.latimes.com/mlb-salaries/#dodgers:angels
  8. I enjoy Simers -- he's funny, he's not afraid to ask anyone anything, and he has a proven record of being right most of the time. Seems his future is in quesiton. "Members of the LA Times sports department have been gossiping among themselves about the sarcastic columnist's status all month. The speculation moved onto the web over the weekend with a post at sports blogger Larry Brown's site saying that Simers' bosses took exception to a video he participated in for Mandalay Sports Media. In the video, Simers officiates a free-throw competition between his daughter Kelzer and ex-Laker Dwight Howard," Couple of stories: Larry Brown's site LA Observed
  9. Two years ago we moved to the first row of T213 and you can't beat it. You're just above the Diamond Club so no one blocks the view. Just left of the batter's box and no screen in front. Plus all shade all the time.
  10. TUESDAY, JUNE 4 - "HOW-TO TUESDAY" - Sherri Shepherd and George Lopez are guest co-hosts; Mario Batali schools George Lopez on making Risotto with Mushrooms and Vin Santo; correspondent Jamika Pessoa joins LA Angels star Albert Pujols and his wife, Deirdre, in their home to make Home Run Chicken with Rice and Beans; Sherri Shepherd makes Brownies with Daphne Oz and Carla Hall. check your local listings, as they say.
  11. In 1989 I started dating a guy who became my husband. That meant going with him to 20+ games a season. We spent many a dreary night at the stadium, and that made me a true fan. And it made 2002 all the more sweet.
  12. Phillipes is much, much closer to Union Station than Langers. But I am guessing you will want to sample food in the stadium, even if it is pricey (as in every MLB park). I recommend the street tacos on the terrace left, behind the bullpens.
  13. I am 0-4 at Angels games this season. They better win tonight or I might do something rash!
  14. If you have more train or transit questions, feel free to send them to my inbox.
  15. it's on Amtrak.com If you have AAA you can get a discount on the train ticket.

  17. I just looked and there is a train that leaves Anaheim at 11:09 pm
  18. PS If you can go on Friday it will be easier because you can take the Angels train. It's cheaper than Amtrak ($7 roundtrip). It leaves Union Station at 5:50 and returns 30 minutes after the last out.
  19. I take the train every day from OC to LA and often stop at Angels games so I am your train expert. You can take Amtrak from Union Station to Anaheim. You can get to Union Station easily using public transportation. If he lives near the Gold Line or the Red Line that is easiest. Otherwise you should be able to find a bus on the Metro LA website.
  20. It's a term of snobbery. We are all the unwashed. Def: Informal and derogatory the masses
  21. I have a cap signed by almost all of the World Series team, Stoneman and coaches. Someday I hope to get Eckstein. My husband and Bill Melton on this board have a complete collection of Topps cards for every Angel.
  22. Tickets are sold. If you like these seats (and they are good), let me know. We have them for the season and might have more available. (Some games are priced lower.)
