Eddie McKiernan! Like that kid. Probably because he looks like he's 12.

Meh. There's still over a month before the season starts. Plus it's not like speed has ever been a big part of his game.
Funny though that he just signed a 2-year extension. Somebody doesn't give a crap anymore.

It's Mark Whicker. What else do you need to know? Dude is a tool.

im good with them getting an extra week off or so without playing...on hot stove this morning harlod reynolds commented that j.a. happ most likely wouldnt have hit granderson yesterday had he had a few more weeks under his belt..i dont know if i agree with that 100% but a few extra days or so to "stretch out" in non-game situations couldnt hurt
It's funny, when I heard about Granderson, my first thought was "well, that's what happens when starters are getting ABs in February". So yeah, I actually see the logic and kind of like the way MS does it. Just interesting to me that most other managers go with their starters right out of the gate.

it's interesting to me that most other managers seemingly play their starters earlier and more often in the spring than Scioscia does. Not saying it's good or bad, just interesting that MS really seems to have a different program than most other managers.

Travis Rodgers seems very smart and is much less of a clown than Roger, but I agree that he may be a little too stiff for the mornings.
What's the deal with Roger Lodge now? Is he really doing the pre-game show full time now? Not sure how I feel about that - he's too much of a clown sometimes, but he does bring a certain amount of energy, which is needed, not unlike the Wonder Dog.

I don't get MS's love for Romine. He's a good defender, but he's never shown he can hit.
