This event sounds like it was incredible. I couldn't go this time but maybe next year?! Thanks for everything you do Chuck. This site and community are nothing short of outstanding. I feel very lucky to get to spend time reading and socializing here.

Why would he refuse to go to AAA with he Angels and then turn right around and accept a minor league deal with Rockies? Does he actually have a shot at making their ML roster?

Big slap in the face if you ask me. I understand the Angels didn't have to give him a raise but the precedent has been set by other clubs. He won ROY and almost got the MVP. They should have rewarded that. So not only does Trout not get abraise, he also doesn't get to play the position he likes either. Why is this organization brilliant in some ways and absolutely stupid in so many others? It will be enfuriating if they keep low balling home grown talent and then drastically overpaying for free agents. We got lucky with Weaver cause he is from SoCal. The Angels better not count on getting as lucky with Trout.

At first glance I thought this lineup looked terrible. Then I realized it has SIX of our FT starters in it! Yikes! Without the big three our lineup looks very pedestrian and uninteresting.

Spring training is fun cause you get to finally see all the prospects we have heard about take some swings. It's cool!

How long until this kid gets a crack at the 3rd base job? Obviously he is not ready now. When is he projected to give it a go?

The amount of hatred shows how much he meant to them. I hope he continues to tear it up for us. So far everything I've seen makes him appear to be a cool guy. A cool guy who rake!
