I liked how Iannetta caught it with his forearm. It must be a good pitch!

That's cool--but no way would I have stayed in a hotel for the night before.

I have to grade student exams. Guess how they are doing.

I was wondering if it was still earlier enough in the season to get my money back from mlb.com?

. . . kissing your sister?

I'll try another: Think about how good our starting rotation is going to be when Weaver returns.
-
Just think about how good we are going to be when Hamilton starts hitting.*
*All I've got is a hypothetical.

I thought NCHaloFan was going to say he saved a ton on his car insurance.

I like that he is still sporting the red soxs and making his team wear the same style!

That guy make me feel creepy for even trying to catch a foul ball legitimately--when I was eight!

My 13-year old niece (a San Diego Charger fan) made this joke about the Raiders: A guy and a dog walk into a bar that has the Raider's game on TV. Just then, Janakowski kicks a field goal. The dog goes wild, running around the bar, doing back flips. The bar tender says, "That dog is a real Raider fan. If it get's this excited about field goals, what does it do when the Raider score a touchdown?" The dog-owner says, "I don't know. I've only had the dog for three years."
For some reason, I think some niece in Oakland is telling this joke right now about the Angels.

"This is a very simple game. Your throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball."
It seems to me that this team thought it was: You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you *hit the bed.

This is the guy I want representing me.

Sign him up. Can Howie play third?

Did Mathis ever comment on how this happened or did he try to ignore the whole thing? Did he throw down to first to catch the runner's secondary lead on the play before? Or was this just one of those quirky muscle-memory things that all athletes do--just not in front of so many people?

I am enjoying to listening to Salmon as a commentator. Rojas and Salmon would be a dream team.

Victor:
It's nice to see people moving the ball forward--keep up the good work! I am looking forward to your telecasts this season.
