    What would you want if you caught Albert's 500th?

    I would keep the ball for a week ... Go to Saint Louis and run down the streets holding the ball high in the air in full Angels gear. Then give it to Albert for a signed Pujols and  signed Salmon game day Jersey and a chance to meet Tim Salmon and get photos with both of them... providing that they pay any taxes I owe on the ball. After all the man is making a lot of money playing a game.

    I hope Trumbo does well like trolldaddy I always root for ex-Angels.  He is going to get his 30 to 40 HR'S and with that of course come RBI's. But don't the Angels as a team lead the majors in HR's. And someone has to be getting RBI's we have had some high scoring games.

     

     I know this thread was not intended to be about the trade but I am glad the Angels traded from a point of strength (Trumbo/offense) for a point of weakness(Skaggs/Santiago/pitching). In my opinion it was one of the few good things this offseason that addressed the pitching of this team. I also think when you post Trumbo stats in a Angel forum of course it is going to bring up the trade. Fact is Baseball is a team game. I know it is a old saying but there is no I in team.
