The only reason I'm watching. My ritual has been watching his at bats, then muting the game and going back on the computer until he comes back up to bat.

Hoping for that higher draft pick next year...

I just remember I went to the Mariner's/Angels games where he had 3 GIDPs and 2 strike-outs. Crowd was booing at him. What a 180...

We already have one TJ surgery closer in waiting (Madson). Do we really need two (The Beard)?
Just get Bourjos, Vargas, Coello, and either Madson or Burnett back during the next 2-4 weeks, and see what happens.
No trades!
We already traded for a rental in July 2012, and look where that got them.
But the difference is that he seems like he can throw. Maybe sign him to a heavily-incentive deal like Madson's? It would only cost us payroll, not anything from our worn down farm system. It doesn't seem like Madson will be throwing for us this year.

- Former Giants closer Brian Wilson is working out in Hawaii and could pitch for teams later this month or in early August.

Iannetta: .220/.368/.361 in 242 PAs
And here are his splits on LHP vs RHP
.197/.352/.315 (RHP in 159 PAs
.266/.398/.453 (LHP in 83 PAs)
Conger: .257/.302/.440 in 116 PAs
And his splits:
.284/.320/.495 (RHP in 100 PAs)
.071/.188/0.71 (LHP in 16 PAs)
Though the sample size is too small for Conger versus LHP, I tend to agree that Platooning seems to work best.
Obviously Conger is showing more defensive prowess and is showing more power, while Ianetta is a walk machine, which are both valuable in their own ways. Definitely we are not in a bad position when it comes to the catching position, but Ianetta isn't showing his best this year defensively...

Cano is a free agent this Winter. Let's sign another high salary free-agent position player, because we don't have an everyday 2nd baseman!

It's called sarcasm. You must be familiar with it to properly read these threads.
I figured.

He wants to upset Trout so he won't want to play for the Angels but rather play for the Dodgers so Scioscia can have he and Puig in the same outfield.

Hi I'm Nick. Fell in love with the Baseball/Angels through sabermetrics (Recently received B.S. in Mathematics) the past few years and now I just breathe baseball 24/7, regretting the fact I wasn't more into the sport when I was younger (my dad was a big football guy; he didn't really care for baseball).
Been lurking for a while on these forums and also follow AngelsWin on Facebook. I'm looking forward to being more involved in discussions!
