It appears they have a "bye" weekend. Friday, August 26-Aug 28 shows nothing on the schedule.  Aside from the All-Star break, I have never seen that on any schedule.

Christopher Russo on MLB Network's "High Heat" this morning, chose this refrain for the first 10 minutes: "The Angels are done. They're finished." He must have said it 5 times.  I concur.  He doesn't "love" their starting pitching, which--in my opinion--is mostly smoke and mirrors; even G-Rich has proven inconsistent.  MVP is batting .183 in August, not been the same since wrist injury.  Pujols can't hit now. "They stink on the road."  Three vs. Dodgers and their pitching. All in all "major issues."

I didn't see him on TV, nor hear him being interviewed on the radio during the post-A's game celebration. Was his absence anticipated, or did I miss something?

It asked which song had the most significance, or something along those lines. The three candidates were "Sweet Caroline," "New York, New York," or "Build Me Up Buttercup." With all due respect, Angels, our song doesn't belong in this conversation.
