I agree he has had a great career....does not mean I want to honor him....let the Yankees do it...Angels don't need to put us through that....hopefully they will cancel it.

I don't care what other teams do...I don't want anyone on another team honored in Angels Stadium unless they were a long time Angel like Garret Andereson or Darin Erstad.

Well then what relevance does Chipper Jones have to do with this...the Angels did not honor him so who cares about him?  At least some people in the previous discussion hadn't lost their mind and were not OK with this either.

Let the Yankees celebrate him every night of the season at their house....it is embarrassing to honor the enemy in our ballpark.

I don't recall any tribute for Chipper Jones or Bobby Cox by the Angels.  Do you think the Red Sox have a tribute planned for Mariano Rivera?  i highly doubt it.

I never saw the Yankees honor any Angels....you guys are soft.

Am I the only one that is outraged that we are honoring Mariano Rivera on Sunday in our home?  We should never honor a member of another team....I don't care if he has a million saves and has not allowed a run ever....he is a Yankee and they are and always will be the enemy.  He certainly deserves celebrating but let the Yankees celebrate him in their stadium....I certainly don't want to see it in our home!  Join me in twitter bombing the Angels in hopes that they will abandon their plans to honor the enemy in our house!

If any season seat holder is wiling to give me their letter or email granting early access to the memorabilia sale on Aprill 27 i will give you a signed ball by an Angel or former Angel.  You can pick from what I have....I have Bourjus, Frieri, Hank Conger, Mark Trumbo, Howie Kendrick, Kevin Jepsen, Torii Hunter, Bobby Abreu, Juan Rivera, Kendrys Morales and probably more...let me know if you are interested.  I am remodeling my house and one of hte rooms is a game room that I want to fill with Angels memorabilia and this could be my one, best chance to get some good stuff.
