  1. Stadium employee here: Reservations to the Diamond Club is done 3 days in advance only, so whomever mentioned that they are probably all reserved is wrong. They do two seatings, early and late; and they both have advantages.

early seating: Usually is less crowded (although being opening day, don't expect this), but it's easier to focus on your meal and get a relaxing atmosphere watching batting practice. Keep in mind that at a certain point, you will have to give up your seat. This is the best option if you would like the Diamond Club experience and still use your seats

Late Seating: Most prefer this and for one main reason: squaters rights for the entire game! With second seating, you have the option to stay at those seats the entire game, but you are required to purchase items to do this. Keep in mind, because you are closer to game time, it WILL get hectic, so bare with the servers/kitchen as they will be slammed.

Either way, most will opt for the buffet because it is quality food and worth it for the quality/quantity and the opportunity to sit on the patio. The a la carte menu is top notch as well, but again, remember the service may be lacking right before first pitch.

Making reservations: ESPECIALLY for opening day, call the SECOND the lines are open for reservations and prepare to hold for a long, long time. And whatever you do, DO NOT HANG UP. you will lose your queue in line. If you are lucky enough to get reservation right away, always opt for the patio seats; they are the most popular because of the view.

So if you are saying call three days prior for reservations.  If the game is tuesday, that would put it at saturday to call.  Are you guys open saturday to take reservations? Or would it fall to default of Friday?

  2. Hey Guys

Just a quick question.  I was lucky enough to score some diamond club seats for opening day.  While i probably been to dozens of games at Angel stadium including knothole club etc.   I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for diamond club area.  Like should we do the buffet (if its worth it?) or should we just order from our seats or should we get tables outside? etc.  Just curious to any positive and negative experiences.  I probably won't score diamond club seats very often so just trying to make the most out of it.  Thanks.
