Interview Conducted by David Saltzer, AngelsWin.com Senior Writer

There’s no doubt that the Angels this year will hit a lot of homeruns this year. With Trout, Rendon, Ohtani, Upton, and Pujols in the lineup, the potential for a lot of offense is clearly established.

But the biggest homerun the Angels may hit this year is in bringing back Daron Sutton to help with the Play-By-Play announcing for the Angels broadcasts. Along with Matt Vasgersian, Sutton will form part of the broadcast team to work alongside with Mark Gubicza and Jose Mota.

Long-time fans will remember Daron from his great announcing on the radio with Mario Impemba during the 2000 and 2001 seasons. And, even longer fans will remember him as the son of Don Sutton who won his 300th game with the Angels back in 1986.

Daron, an admitted Angels fan, brings a unique style to the booth that is easy to listen to and at the same time very informative. He brings the joy of a fan and the experience of having grown up in the around the game and having played in the Minor Leagues for the Angels as a pitcher.

AngelsWin.com recently caught up with Daron to talk Angels baseball and about his return to calling Angels games. Please click below to watch our interview and be sure to follow him on his Twitter feed @lifeisgreatsut.
