Pujols' best years are behind him, there's no denying that. His contract, like most "elite" players is beyond ridiculous. But I still believe a healthy Albert Pujols will still put up respectable numbers for the better part of his contract. And to think that pitchers don't respect his presence in terms of their approach while he's in the box is ludicrous.

This is why the Angels need to shut down Albert this year.  Make him have surgery or whatever to heal his foot.  The dude is playing in major pain.  That much is obvious.  It is time to get Albert healthy for 2014.
