From the Rays' site:

"De La Rosa spent most of the 2012 season as the closer for Durham, but he had two stints with the Rays, posting a 12.60 ERA in five appearances.

While at Durham, De La Rosa made a team-high 54 appearances out of the bullpen for the Bulls, posting an 0-4 record with a team-high 20 saves and a 2.79 ERA.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound De La Rosa lead all International League relievers (minimum of 50 innings pitched) with a .158 opposing average. He also ranked second in the league among relievers with 11.6 strikeouts per nine innings."

I'll take it.

At least it isn't Reagins trading with Friedman.

Doesn't Reagins still work for the Angels in some capacity?

Hopefully Dipoto didn't walk away from his desk leaving his computer logged in like that one time when Reagins tried to trade Dan Haren for Marmol.

I hear the fact that he's 30 as an argument, but let's keep in mind, for a reliever, there is no age curve, Scott Downs wasn't crap until age 33 (or something).

Also, 6'6 frame and mid to high 90's fastball.  Yeah, I'll take it.  Here's a story worth reading on him.
