  1. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone clamoring for an Angels/Clippers Channel. Balmer, the Genius that he is, was already aware of the issues with Bally Sports and started Clippers Vision at the beginning of this NBA's season. What is Clipper vision? The LA Clippers are officially launching their very own streaming service. It's a move that will change the way fans watch basketball and likely have a ripple effect on the rest of the NBA. This venture, known as ClipperVision, is the very first direct-to-consumer streaming platform in the NBA. ClipperVision will stream more than 70 games live in-market directly to fans without a pay TV subscription, with the first stream beginning on October 22. It will launch six different streaming options, with more coming in the future. https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/la-clippers-launch-new-clippervision-streaming-service
  2. The Clippers where one Kawahi knee bump with Joe Ingles away from winning it all two years ago. The Clippers front office is probably the best in the NBA right and his teams are competitive even when plagued with injuries (like last year or when they took the Warriors to 6 games as the #8 seed a few years ago). All he has to do is put the Angels in a position to make the playoffs because the MLB post-season is almost always a crapshoot.
  3. The Mavs had a bunch of drama in their front office recently with Donnie Nelson quitting along with Rick Carlisle. There were rumors that a bookie (or someone like that) was the one running player decisions.
  4. Hi Guys, I follow the board daily...don't post much but been around since the old ESPN board. Didn't see that anybody had posted this but its an awesome watch. Maddon had Kornheiser and Wilbon gushing at the end. They asked him whether the Angels would retaliate during the opening series vs the Astros and had some interesting things to say about analytics vs the human element of baseball. Maddon's interview is between 7:30 -- 17:30
  5. Erstad had one of the best full on stretched out diving catches that I have seen against the Yankees in NY that saved the game and kept it going into extra innings. I couldn't find video but found the recap of that game. http://articles.latimes.com/2000/aug/19/sports/sp-7228 Clemens called Erstad's catch "one of the top three I've seen in my career, and I've been around 17 years."
  6. Yup... .411/.556/.967 up until that point. He was becoming the player that we all expected him to be but was never the same after suffering that concussion.
