I agree, the only game this year where I thought the Ducks were not the better team on the ice was against the Blackhawks. Should be really fun playoffs this year (especially if we meet the Kings in the playoffs finally, that would just be an epic showdown)!

Selanne has not looked like himself recently. I don't think he is finished though. I think resting him against the Sharks wouldn't be the worst idea but with Perry out I don't think we can. He should def catch a blow when Perry is back as we have back to back sunday monday with wings and sharks.

They played a solid game against a good Blues team. Score could have been more than 1 to 1 in regulation as both teams hit a few posts. They were really taking it to them offensively in the third but just couldn't find the back of the net. Great road trip and I can't wait to be at the ponda the next two Mondays to see them against the Sharks!

Great comeback wins...we really need to start off games better. If we win tonight I think we have a 5 seed locked up with a possible 4 seed. Although, I really dont give a **** what seed we are as long as we are in the West region. Basically home games at Staples for sweet 16 and elite 8 would be huge (assuming we win the 1st 2 games of course which will be no piece of cake for this team).

I LOVE the playoff format. Ducks have a much better shot at making the playoffs. 3 out of 7 make it in the division and 8 out of 14 in the conference. Compared to the realignment that was talked about last year which would have had the Ducks in a division where 3 out of 8 make the playoffs and 8 out of 16 from the conference. The Angels lose their divisional advantage this year but the Ducks get one next year, pretty funny.

Jeff if you think hockey has too many stoppages how do you watch any other sport thats not soccer? Wicked- I don't know if sign and trades are legal in the NHL, I thought I remember a rule where if you sign a guy you can't trade him for a year (I could definitely be wrong about this but for some reason that rule is in my head). I just don't think a team like Anaheim who rarely spends to the cap can afford to lose Perry for nothing. For the 1st 12 games of the season Perry only had 1 goal and 5 assists and the Ducks did pretty well. If they keep winning the next 3 games without him (especially against the competition we are playing) I could definitely see him being moved. However, what I would like to see is Perry locked up long term before the trade deadline, then trade Bobby Ryan in the offseason to free up come cap room. I just don't see Perry signing before hitting free agency.

I wonder if Perry gets suspended for that hit if he is on the Leafs, Rangers, Bruins etc.

I think UNLV is a lock to make the tourney. I've been to the SDSU at UNLV game the last 3 years, the atmosphere in that building is ****ing amazing! I wish so cal buildings could get that loud.

If we win these 4 games without Perry does that make him more likely to be traded? BS he got 4 games in this short season, I would've understood 2 but was really expecting nothing with how few suspensions have been handed out this year.

I completely agree with this even though I'll have to buy a new Jersey if Bobby is traded.
