  1. Why? The cash stream is still there and it doesn’t seem like team prices are going down anytime soon.
  2. I still like Harper I’d take him and Bauer on the Angels would be awesome.
  3. If I was Arte I’d do like the Dodgers and say give us Harper and Wheeler for free and throw in 25% of what they’re still owed and thanks bye.
  4. The only reason I ask is all the stats that people post that Trout isn’t a good defensive center fielder. Which visually I think he’s a good one but I honestly know nothing about defensive metrics etc. I barely know anything about offensive random stats.
  5. At what point do we think about moving Trout to one of the corner outfield positions and replacing him at CF? Could Trout play Left or Right better than he plays Center?
  6. Nice first move. Hopefully he plays well this next year to warrant an extension or a mid season trade if our prospects start to push for starting jobs on the big league club. Cheaper contract than Simmons while playing similar defense. Good job!
  7. I can only imagine. I’m 38 watching the video being like I know these people aren’t gonna come out on top but still it’s entertainment watching them scratch off this many tickets
  8. Mr Beast made a video where he spent 1 million dollars on scratch off tickets it’s pretty entertaining.
  9. One I didn’t say put all your money in the stock market I said to put money in that and save as much as possible. And 2 sure there’s always some correction coming. But timing the market is foolish your basically guessing. Do what you feel comfortable with put money in the stock market or don’t the markets up and there’s a stimulus coming December or January all reports look optimistic for 2021 for the stock market but no one can predict the future. For me over the long haul I trust that the market will win out.
  10. Sucks. People are getting let go more and more the longer and longer covid is around. No fans in the stadiums, shortening the season. It’ll be real interesting if fans will be allowed in next season or if more things will be locked down. Disney is letting go of something like 3,200 people. Times are definitely weird. Everyone should be saving and putting their money in the stock market as much as they can right now. Never know what tomorrow may bring.
  11. 38 year old catcher no thanks. Finally getting the final Molina to complete the set yes please!
  12. We may not always agree. But I am thankful for this AngelsWin family and I hope each and every one of you has an incredible thanksgiving with friends and family and get lots and lots of food. No ones judging you today! Have an incredible day AngelsWin peeps Go Angels!
  13. Downtown San Diego existed before Petco park went in. Right now Nothing exists except Angels stadium and a parking. But this deal seriously just sounds like they want to put all these maps get it all agreed to by the city and then flip it for someone else to incur all these costs of building it. I don’t know how or why this is a 25 plus year deal in the works.
  14. 31 year old pitcher getting his first shot at the majors. Ya I think I’ll let some other team take that gamble.
  15. Exciting stuff. Ducks will be the first ones to get things completed and Angels will be right behind them 21 years from then. Should be exciting times.
  16. Agreed I’m not advocating for them signing him. I’m just stating you can’t trade for him and not re sign him.
  17. You wouldn’t trade for Lindor and then watch him leave. Similar to the Dodgers and Betts you’d trade for Lindor then sign him to long term contract. Otherwise there’s no point in trading for him.
  18. You crack me up. Read what I wrote and not what you think I said. I never said they were blowing their wad on Happ. But the money Arte has to spend isn’t infinite. If the budget is 30 or 40 million Happ would take up at least say 5 million. So the Angels would have less money to spend elsewhere. I wouldn’t offer Happ anything I don’t think he’d be worth it he’s old and his last “real” season was an over 4 era. Have your own opinion you are allowed mine is I don’t want the Angels to spend on over 35 year old players. Take a breath and breathe it’ll be ok.
  19. Not for me. A 38 year old pitcher who in the last “real” season has a 4 plus era is not something I want in the Angels rotation. I’d rather they stand pat then spend money on someone like that. I’d rather they spend that money on a back up outfielder or ss or closer
  20. But to honestly answer I wouldn’t sign him to a one year deal I wouldn’t offer him anything. I’d let someone else do it. I’d focus on younger arms personally.
  21. Do you think he’d sign with us if we offered a 10 year deal Plus a 5 year personal services contract?
  22. If only all professional sports contracts were like the NFL. Easy Peasy.
