This is the one nice thing about being an Angels fan in Nor Cal, no blackouts.

The two best players in baseball are about to hit back to back… pretty insane to think about. 

If Syndergaard is hurt, he's replaced by Detmers and our rotation is mediocre instead of halfway decent.
If Sandoval is hurt, he's replaced by Detmers and our rotation is mediocre instead of halfway decent.
If Ohtani is hurt, he's replaced by Detmers and our rotation sucks and our offense is average instead of solid. 
Or empirically, Shohei Ohtani is of greater value than anyone not named Trout. Therefore the answer is Ohtani. 
I mean he is the reigning MVP after all, do to pretend anyone else besides Trout is more important doesn't seem logical.

He's actually been consistent his whole career but last year.  Where his FIP dropped relative to his career numbers which still sits at 3.99.  He does seem to consistently outperform his peripherals.  So fingers crossed.  
At least Perry didn't wait till the day before the regular season starts to get some pen help.  
And I really like our pen this year.  Even if one of those guys fail, it seems we've got the depth to cover it.   I hope Joe uses it well.  

It is very sad, but my main point is that while re-signing Ohtani isn’t necessarily the right move, we know Arte will try, and signing Trevor Story isn’t going to stop that. So if you see the Angels make that move it means they think they’ll be able to afford both.

I'm not a fan of this signing because of the AAV.  Otherwise solid.

I would not count on Buttrey. His last 2 years with halos were not good. Bradkey depends on price.

I don’t think Trout is being entirely truthful when he says he knew nothing about what was going on with the drug situation. I get why he said that though. 

can we start the GDT now?  Otherwise, there's nothing about the Angels to talk about.  

I doubt he wins a cy young with a 2.35 era in 70 innings as a reliever.  

Thankfully, none of the Angels' stars are injury prone.

Nah we get fucked over ever year playing in a really strong division. I want more games against bottom feeders.
