Hi All, I'm not new here, I have been around since 2013 (according to my profile) but am I right in saying there was a previous forum? I'm sure I have been around way longer. Like back to the early 2000s. Then most of my baseball consumption was via the gameday on MLB.com, streaming KLAA and forums. Due to the fact we got very little MLB coverage in Australia then outside of playoffs. Thank god for MLB.tv, I have been a subscriber since I had internet capable of streaming it. I'm a Angels fan since 1992 here in Australia. Pretty much it was by dumb luck. I had just started playing baseball in under 16s for my local club after a friend took me down to training one night, which got me interested in baseball. I watched a game late one night (they used to just show one game per week on replay at like 11pm) and it happened to be the Angels. They won (I think can't quite remember) and I decided they would be my team. This coming September I will finally be getting to Angel Stadium for my first time for the Orioles games on the 4th and 5th. I'm super excited for it as it has been a long time coming. This trip is actually a family trip to WDW and Universal Orlando, but I insisted in a 2 day stopover in Anaheim.

I agree with Victor it's a slider!!

I'm sure they will bring up some bum from single A that will shutout the Angels and look like Greg Maddux against us but suck every other start.

What is the actual rules around stuff like this? I can't remember it coming up like this before.

Amazing game. I got up at 3am (in Australia) to watch it and it was worth it.

I'm feeling it. The 2 biggest problems as has been said by many are still Blowpen and hitting with RISP. Those have been our problem for most of my Angels supporting lifetime.

I just jumped on the Raiders before last season. I was never into American Football at all until then and decided to choose a team. I chose Raiders because they have a massively passionate supporter base that stick with them through thick and (for the last 10 years) thin. It helps that my team here in Aus has similar colours and fans. I certainly couldn't be called a bandwagoner or glory hunter! One thing on my bucket list now it to attend a Raiders home game in the black hole and get dressed up. I now love the game and watched every Raiders game last season (I'm a glutton for punishment I guess) and plenty of other games from previous years. I went to the pub to watch the super bowl (drinking Bud and eating wings at 9am on a Monday was different!). RAIDER NATION!!!

Worrying news. I agree though, trade now so we get something for him. We should be able to get something good for a player of the calibre of mvperry.

I drank Bud during the Superbowl as it was the only option in the package at the pub. It isn't that bad for mass produced imitation piss. Although after the amount of free buffalo wings I ate with them I guess I was mostly tasting the buffalo wings haha. There are far worse out there. Like Victoria Bitter (VB), Carlton Draught or Fosters (we don't even drink that crap, we send it overseas) here in Australia. They are all terrible, terrible beers, only drunk by old men who don't know any better and bogans and yokels.

I started playing junior baseball for my home town near Melbourne after a mate got me to come down to practice one night in 1992. I was immediately hooked on the game of baseball from then on. So I had to choose a team. It just worked out that we were getting one game a week on TV here at the time (not even live) and that week it was an Angels game. I can't even remember if we won or who we played, but I was impressed with them and have been a die-hard fan ever since. I collected baseball cards (have started again now) and everything, I got the annual baseball magazines and would read them cover to cover multiple times. I had a California Angels fitted road hat from when it was the CA logo, way before all the hipsters and swag fags were wearing them! It cost me a fortune and I had to get it specially ordered through the only baseball equipment store in the city, of course there was no internet shopping back then (The only baseball news we got was the scores in the paper and sometimes a "play if the day" on the tv news if it was a slow news day). It must have come by boat or something because it took weeks. It was like xmas when it finally arrived!
