    That had to be the least amount of Sox fans I have ever seen or heard at an Angel game. Probably a combination of the state of the team combined with Angel season ticket holders not giving up their seats for the home opener.

    Well, I was more talking about how he doesn't care if he has a lack of power from his clean up hitter.

    He is somehow managing to not use modern statistical analysis or "old-school manager" thinking as he explains his thought process here.

    Belisle's in Garden Grove.., mostly what I remember is the massive portions. Went there after a game when I was a kid and saw Bobby Grich there.

    I would go with no. I can't imagine a good hitter not being a good hitter because he is on a bench in between innings instead of on the field. If you don't have the metal fortitude to stay focused as a DH, you probably would have been exposed long before you made it to the big leagues.
