Season over… 4 July 2023… Trout out 4-8 weeks… Angels lose series to bottom dwelling Pads… Neto, O’Hoppe on the shelf… Gio season over… Ohtani has blisters… Rendon has a shin bruise … Fletcher, Velazquez, Ward, Adell on the roster… And Taylor and his douchy Debbie Downer emoji can suck it….

His pitching wasn’t great today, but he had a lot of bad luck… Just a bad combo… I’m not his biggest fan, but hanging the “L” on Patrick today is analogous to calling Rendon injury prone when he gets hit by a pitch….

I've been in the "sample-size" camp thus far... but his results are getting harder and harder to ignore despite the BB:K ratio and likely benefits of LHP/RHP platoon... And I've been real impressed w/ his defense...

Lots of dudes can hit tape measure BP shots... I'd love to see and hear about Jo's defensive highlights before plugging him into the lineup...

Another great listen... I too was happy with the performance against the M's... but like Victor said - they're another sub-.500 team... we're supposed to take care of those teams... I totally agreed with Victor's assessment of this team (to date)... Let's see what they do against Tejas... I will say - I feel that this team has had a disproportionate amount of bad luck (bad calls in critical points, uncharacteristic defensive gaffes, unlucky ABs on both sides, etc)... and yet they're over .500... And they STILL haven't seen their lead dogs put it together and go on a run... I think they're capable of ripping off a 10 game win streak - and if they do, they're in the thick of it...

With all due respect and optimism…. Having dealt with a similar issue with a family member… I hope it’s as simple as it’s being reported and Walsh is back in the lineup soonest… but on a personal level - this doesn’t seem like an easy fix… I hope I’m wrong….

What's funny about this quote/thread and comparing their styles - I actually really appreciated how Victor was critical of the org and players while he was here - I found his honesty added to his credibility and made him a more endearing personality...
