  1. Why Tuesday? But yeah, he should have been up here yesterday. I'm still not sure why we signed Franklin and why Pennington/Robinson are on this roster.
  2. No errors either. Cowart has played 6 straight games at 2B too.
  3. ? Two productive bats that are still relatively young, both lefty bats at that.
  4. If they signed Moose and Hosmer, yes.
  5. Sign both Moustakas and Hosmer, let Cowart and Fletcher battle it out for the starting 2B job (whoever loses is our utility guy), Puello to LF. Sign Maybin on the cheap to be our insurance OF, 4th OF in case Puello doesn't workout. If Heaney, Richards and Skaggs are healthy and log innings this season, do nothing else. RF Calhoun SS Simmons CF Trout 1B Hosmer DH Pujols 3B Moustakas C Maldonado 2B Cowart LF Puello - SP Richards SP Heaney SP Skaggs SP Meyer SP Shoemaker, Ramirez, N. Smith, Bridwell, Barria, Long, Morales, Scribner. Lots of options!
  6. Your takes suck 95% of the time. Including this one.
  7. Puello hit an absolute BOMB (13) earlier in the Bees game. Cowart is 2-4 with a grand slam. Playing 2B.
  8. I take back the positive comment about Shane Robinson. His 1st inning defense sucked ass.
  9. Sosh: That's great for the Bees. We got Franklin and Pennington, girl. We good!
  10. Brad Miller is awful though. He's like Espinosa 2.0.
  11. I could see him being a waiver trade deal in August for a team that needs some speed.
  12. Me too. Maybe we'll trade Maybin and Escobar to clear up two spots. Puello to LF, Cowart to 3B. Perhaps make a trade to land a 2B, or let Fletcher take the job.
  13. We'll never know if Puello will be a difference maker unless he's promoted to the big leagues. He has power/speed potential. We do know that Robinson outside of his defense is not. Also, Puello was a top 50 prospect 3 years ago.
  14. Maybe Blake Parker? Or in addition to Norris, throw in someone like Nolan Fontana to replace their young middle infield depth.
  15. maybe kick something else back, but Kemp's not even a top prospect and he's 25 now.
  16. Kemp plays 2B, we need a 2B. The Astros could use another backend reliever and Kemp isn't going to supplant Altuve any time soon. Thoughts? Slashing .334/.387/.477 with 7 HR's and 15 SB over 80 games. He's walked 28 times vs. just 26 strikeouts. Across 476 minor league games he has slashed .310/.391/416 with 122 SB.
  17. Jones with some love from BA's Prospect Hotlist this week, coming in at #2. 2. Jahmai Jones, OF, Angels (19)Low Class A Burlington (Midwest) The Angels’ farm system is showing long-awaited signs of improvement. Jordon Adell gives the team a true top prospect and Jones has managed to put an awful April behind him. Now Jones is showing the power-speed combo that made him the toolsiest player in the Angels organization until Adell showed up, and he was promoted to high Class A Inland Empire on Thursday. 18. I don't mind the list, but I would definitely swap out Nate Smith for Hermosillo. Smith hasn't been able to stay healthy.
