  1. Incredible minor league numbers to date. 2.83 ERA, 362 K's over 362 IP, 1.15 WHIP with 39 saves.
  2. I believe that's just @Jeff Fletcher's opinion, not necessarily him being told by the Angels that they're not interested and didn't make a phone call about Stanton to find out what a deal would look like.
  3. The Tip of the Day and Interesting Thing of the Day. Let me know what you think after a week or so. I've read through some of the feeds in the past and they're pretty informative and it's the full feed so you don't have to click away. BTW... If any of you have any other feeds that aren't too intrusive or spam the forum in bulk, let me know. I'm good with one feed per day, but not several. Enjoy!
  4. I thought his next 4 years were on the cheap, maybe it's his next 3 years. It's what's after that span where his contract gets incredible expensive.
  5. Would you do this deal if the Marlins paid for his next 4 years, but we had to take on the rest and include Adell?
  6. I think you're talking about the OC Register's articles. Anyhow I asked Fletch to look into because it's something that needs to be addressed on their side, not ours. We don't dictate if an article is just brief w/intro with a link to read the rest or full, that's on the publisher's side to fix.
  7. And both are just great people on and off the field. A Trout-Stanton 1-2 punch would be sick.
  8. Honestly, if we landed Stanton somehow, Trout will extend. Period. Even through FA signings there is no one else you can pair up with Trout that will make a big difference IMO. Pujols is being sunsetted. Calhoun is meh... Simmons is great but not a MOTO bat.
  9. Can he have a G. Richards biceps cramp please?
  10. Why don't you just enjoy the win instead of worrying about things out of your control and worrying about tomorrow?
  11. Good job Halos! We absolutely needed a split here after dropping the first game. Holding our 2nd WC spot for another day!
  12. Jon Morosi of FOX Sports hears the Marlins are "willing to engage with other teams" on a possible Giancarlo Stanton trade. Stanton cleared revocable waivers on Sunday, so he's eligible to be dealt to any club -- assuming he would not exercise his full no-trade protection. Miami's asking price is probably sky high even with Stanton owed more than $285 million on a mega-contract that runs through 2027. The 27-year-old slugger is batting .285/.376/.646 with a league-leading 44 home runs and 94 RBI in 116 games this season. Source: Jon Morosi on Twitter
  13. 31 home runs he's given up this season. Outside of a few solid starts he's just been awful this season. We're always coming from behind when he's on the mound it seems, or just downright losing ball games. How much longer do we have to endure this guy?
  14. Hey Nolasco, see Jered Weaver's move today and take heed.
