  1. There often arent rules that cover all forms of douchebaggery.
  2. And some save threads for multiple years.
  3. True. But only one of us necro'd this thread. He's also a mod. And theoretically above these antics. He knows that though.
  4. The classic Lou followup. Great moderation.
  5. The guy who wasnt willing to post an opinion of his own necroing a 2+ year old post to call ppl out. The epitome of who Lou is.
  6. Wilson for Cespedes in a second. Which means it would never happen.
  7. lol @ 3/4 of the thread being contrarians.
  8. The guy who basically replaced him, Ibanez, has 3 HRs and 12 RBIs. He even has 1 more BB, in 20 less ABs. These threads still have no point.
  9. Why does this need a thread? Weve known he can hit HRs. Why not point out hes also 3 for his last 25? With 1 BB and 10 Ks. Just look at his splits: 233/292/583/876. This is all typical Trumbo. Nothing has changed.
  10. You have to actually be healthy to steal bases.
  11. I have a hard time believing he has 7, but who knows.
  12. Were not this bad, I completely agree. The problem is, if we continue to play this bad, the hole will be too deep for us to crawl out of. We cant keep starting 2-7ish each year and expect to play .600 ball the rest of the season.
  13. At several points last year I almost jumped on the "Fire Scioscia" bandwagon. Im still not there quite yet, but heres what it all comes down to: This team cant go 8-15 again without someone getting fired. I dont know that Scioscia deserves to be fired. The team is hitting .276/.347/.430/.777 overall, even with Hamilton sucking and Trout doing very little so far. Thats not bad. But our team ERA is 5.23 and WHIP is 1.42. Both of those numbers are pretty damn horrible. But worst of all? 15 HRs given up in 72.1 innings. 15 (fifteen)! Were averaging almost 2 HRs given up per game. If this team gets anywhere near 8-15, the guy who should be fired first is Butcher. If things dont improve after that, then think about Scioscia, imo.
  14. The handling of the bp today was a +2, imo.
  15. There were a lot of teams that only scored 0-3 runs today. Very bad day for offenses it seems.
  16. Should have paid him 600k. Show of good faith.
  17. Working at Sears, listening to it in the warehouse after the boss had left.
