Yep agree, me too but after yesterday’s show it didn’t sound like Washington would want to be on the west coast. I was then thinking Buck would make the most sense. So seeing this breaking news was a great surprise. Really happy with this decision. To me it will be interesting to see how the staff is put together around him. Especially Pitching coach and Bench coach .

I’ll go with the Padres for best case (if not with the Halos), my worst nightmare would be the Mariners.

Priority should be to add on the pitching side. Whether or not if they sign Ohtani, they need to add some quality depth to the bench (as we know this mash unit goes through a lot of players).

Completely agree the playoffs shouldn’t bleed into November.... However I am a fan of the current playoff format..... Maybe shorten the regular season by a few games, nothing extreme.

Randazzo has been a great addition to the broadcast. Would love to have Alex Curry back on the broadcast regularly.

No doubt about it, MLB has a big issue and better figure it out fast. As I see it the biggest issue is that it’s too hard to access it in most markets. The regional sports channels have been a disaster for MLB. They need to broaden net by putting more games on broadcast TV (over the airway so that even people without cable could watch via antenna). Even if it’s less money than Regional network is offering they need to look at it as a marketing investment to expand exposure to current and more importantly future fans. At least put some of games on broadcast TV then the others games can be on the combination of regional sport networks and the MLB app but that local blackout restriction needs to be done away with so that anyone locally can access the broadcast. Also why isn’t the MLB network available to stream via the MLB app to anyone, why do you or should you have to have a cable provider. It just limits access to your customers, just dumb. For example the NFL network can now be streamed directly without a cable provider (NFL +). MLB is going down the same road that boxing went down, it needs to address quickly or else it’s going to be fringe sport like boxing is now.

Agree 100%. Also would like to add the need for someone who knows how to manage a bullpen (Of course some reliable arms will need to be added). Bullpen management has been a problem with this team since Scioscia left.

I like Perry and want him back, think he has done a good job given the circumstances. Especially like how he has handled the drafts the last couple of years.

Fingers crossed that hold up and the Yankees loose.

Small sample size but yes he has been. hopefully he’ll be to maintain that throughout his career.
