This team, this year, isn’t a below average team if they didn’t have injuries. They are one game under .500 right now. Trout, Rendon, Neto, Ward, O’Hoppe, Stassi, the bullpen arms, that’s a minimum of 5-10 games. Plus you buy different things at the deadline with health. Sorry your misery won’t get me to play make believe.
Forgot Urshela the replacement for Rendon when he got hurt. Makes Ohtani performance even more amazing. Few cramps and blisters but he's out there everyday.

Who had the DOMINATOR as new closer
-
Halos are on best path forward. Some young players in Neto, O'Hoppe, Moniak, Adell, first round pick this year. Young pitchers in Silseth, Sandoval, Detmers, Canning, Soriano, Joyce, Bachman among others. All these young players should only get better. Add in vets Trout, Drury maybe resign Moose this team will be OK. Ohtani leaves money for free agents.

You need to go say 5 Hail Mary’s and 5 Our Fathers as your penance for having these impure thoughts.
I agree but to be fair I did mention if halos were healthy. I will go to church do the penance and light a few candles. I could go to Anaheim stadium do the penance under the halo when the lights are on. That might take awhile for the lights to be on.

Teams will just pitch around him. I know everybody would hate this but I wonder in a lineup with Betts, Freeman and Will Smith how well Ohtani would do. How would he do if Rendon and Trout were healthy all year. His numbers are truly amazing and if Drury, Neto and O'Hoppe healthy all year. I hope he stays and in 2024 team can stay healthy.

If Arte keeps team I hope he keeps Minasian and Nevin. Angels have fired GM's and managers in past and nothing has changed. Minasian has done his job but with injuries have killed this team. Stay with management they have and regroup in off season.

Resign the DOMINATOR let him be your closer. Let him close rest of this year

Best path forward starts tonight. Halos get on a winning streak and make playoffs. LET"S GO HALOS LET'S GO HALOS I believe we can do it YES WE CAN YES WE CAN. If not regroup this winter as Angel's do have some young talent and plan for 2024. Ohtani leaves I'd wish him well and thanks for the memories. DH spot for 2024 be open for Trout, Rendon and others. I try and resign Moose, Moore, Lopez and few others. Angel's will be OK going forward.

Angels have dug a deep hole that they are now in. Possible to get out of no, likely but can be done. Win streak of 8 or 9 out 10 gets them back in it.

I say yes. Tweeted this out yesterday.
I would like to sign him for 2024 but nothing will happen till after season. 3 to 4 million. Moose and Drury be vets for young team.

I think he ends up with Seattle. Dodgers would be obvious team. Betts, Freeman, Smith they surround him with all-stars. Playoffs every year just depends on if Dodgers do a 9-to-10-year deal.

Long way to go but halos need couple of wins. Need to get thunder sticks out and MAKE SOME NOISE HALO FANS. LET'S GO HALOS
-
The halos got hot after all-star game and made the decision to make a run at the playoffs. After 7 losing seasons to me it was the right move. It might not work out but I'm glad they did not throw in the raise the white flag. Season is not over. If Ohtani signs with another team this off season Angel's will move on at that time. I still believe halos can get hot and make a run at playoffs.

1. I have no idea. I haven’t asked any people outside the organization about this. But I do know the Angels major league roster is a lot better now than it was a week ago. And they have a better chance of making the playoffs than they did a week ago.
2. I’ll say maybe 25 percent. I’m slightly upgrading what the math says because of the guys about come off the IL and the upgrades already made.
3. I don’t think Arte turned down $3B to do a rebuild. I think if Ohtani doesn’t come back they’ll spend all that money and someone else and try to be as good as possible in 2024.
Arte can still get 3 billion. Halos have decent young core. Vets like Moose, Cron, Renfroe, Grichuk, Lopez, Moore I hope can bring back a few of them.

Albie Pearson, he called halos to draft him in 1960. He was last player picked in that draft. Second for me was Leon Wagner "Daddy Wags"
