  1. I saw Sano hit a home run off Matt Harvey in 2019 at Angels Stadium that probably caused $10,000 damage to the stucco at the Jersey Mike’s stand in Left Field. It must have sounded like the building was hit by a Scud Missle for the employees. It sure looked like one.
  2. Sano has the range of a freaking Sea Lion at 3rd. He let O’hoppe catch a foul ball that should have easily have been the third baseman’s play, then just watched a hard hit grounder go by him down the line with no effort at all. And the Hunter Dozier bad game stuff continues as Kyren Paris just bailed his ass out on a dropped pop foul. Yikes
  3. Youre right Jason. He just fell asleep again and let a runner score on a ground out from second base. What the hell?
  4. Boy the Angels have looked really sloppy the entire game. Bad pitching, walks, errors, unearned runs, poor situational hitting, etc… And it’s only the 4th inning. I guess the bright side is there is plenty of time to right the ship
  5. Trent Rush said that double was a ground rule double and the runner was sent back to third. Sure as hell didn’t look like a ground rule double in my book.
  6. Reid Detmers doesn’t look very good in his first start so far. 4 walks, an unearned run, and 28 pitches through 1 with 11 strikes and 18 balls. As I type this, the Angels just completely botched a routine infield bunt.
  7. I always bring my dog water. Walking him at elevation, he gets thirsty very quickly. He does give me that look @gotbeer, like “Dad, I’m thirsty now and can use some water.”
  8. Strong arm. Brutal control. Pitches from behind and then has to groove fastballs. Lather, rinse, repeat. He’s a long shot in my opinion.
  9. Adrianza is making a strong early case for himself to make this team.
  10. Why can’t we just call it what it really is when we take our dog out for a “walk?” It really should be called “4 steps, stop, sniff, piss/shit, repeat” but I guess “walk” is just easier to say than what really is going on when I take the dog out. What should take us about 30-40 minutes to accomplish takes about 60-75 mins to finish. Screw it, it’s his world.
  11. As a guy who had 33 years of horrible broken sleep patterns, what Arch Stanton said is about all you can do. Try and get into a routine when you can, but all I can really say is get sleep when you can. Sleep is very important to your body. It helps with appetite, your mental health, and mostly your physical health. But don’t try and catch up on missed sleep all in one day. Dont sleep more than 9 hours. If you have to take a nap, do it, but don’t binge sleep. That’s detrimental to your body and mind and will have the opposite effect of what you are trying to accomplish.
  12. Neto now with more home runs (1) in spring training than Trout has hits (0). not that it matters, it’s just a fact. For now.
  13. Like when he said he’d bet “ dollars to doughnuts” that Sandoval would be out there to pitch the 3rd inning. For the record, Silseth is out there for the 3rd
  14. Taylor Ward got throw up and in, including 2 very close to his face, and seemed to react OK, even though he wiffed on an outside curve ball. I think this is going to be a normal thing to see for him and he seemed to deal with it fairly Ok. Good to see.
  15. Terry Smith struggled more reading the names of the Guardians starting line up than Sandoval did in the top of the first. Some tough names for Terry in the line up
  16. I’m trying @Chuck. I have a few things I need to move around. If I can make it, it’s gonna be a quick 2 dayer. I let you know. Sounds like some awesome AW people will be there, including my buddy Rhett.
  17. My dad was very involved in sports with me growing up, so he almost always called me by my first name during games or matches. Son would have been inappropriate. My mom would call me son from the stands. It was the exact opposite when we got home.
  18. Why would she light a Yoohoo on fire? Ohhhhh. Hoohoo. That IS amazing.
  19. I was going to put this in the Dead Celebrities thread but this is OK. He was hilarious in his appearances on Letterman. Cant believe he was 76 though. Damn I’m getting old.
