It’s early in the season, but that’s a fucking disastrous loss. A complete failure in extra innings. (2) 2 out base hits to score the tying and winning runs in the 9th and 13th. Bases loaded, no outs and can only push across a bullshit sac fly. This one hurts a little

I’m just glad that Adell remembered to go back and tag up and not just run home. That would have been very Adell-like base running.

Jo Adell is a brutal baserunner. Even if that was a busted hit and run, the point still stands.

It reminds me of the glory days of Tiger. Back in the day, when Tiger was in contention, especially when he was chasing, guys locked up. Even great players pressed. With Scheffler, he wasn’t chasing today, but he had the lead and guys knew he wasn’t going to make mistakes (like Tiger) and Scottie let guys make their own mistakes. Scheffler is Tiger 2.0

Just a masterful performance by Scottie Scheffler today and throughout the entire tournament. Great champion and great person. Now go home and be a father.

Not for long. Scheffler just about canned his wedge from 102 at 9. Hes got the lead again.

Exactly @Blarg. Me too. I’m pulling hard for both those guys, and Scheffler also. Aberg is playing with zero fear right now, and that’s dangerous. Maybe he doesn’t realize this is a major and is going to change his life forever?

Morikawa could be running away with this tournament on the final day, but he has missed 4 amazing opportunities for birdies and one for eagle and missed them all. Same goes for Max Homa. Scheffler is letting the field come back to him with consecutive bogeys. Scottie is really struggling today with distance control on his irons and he’s missing greens left and right. Going to be a great finish today with many players within 3 shots right now.

Scheffler is amazing, and he “should” be there at the end, if he can survive the late tee time today and the wind they are expecting later. The game I’m rooting for is Will Zalatoris. It would make his comeback complete. And if I could bottle up a swing, it would be his swing with Max Homa’s swing a close second.

I love Speith as he seems like a genuinely good guy, but damn….he’s a roller coaster. Last weeks adventure on 18, todays implosion on 15….its nuts. He’s so good when he’s on, but he definitely has swing thoughts creeping into his head.
