    That was the Bahrain Grand Prix. A little something they cooked up to screw up our traffic and overrun us with Eurotrash for a few days every year in the late winter when weather is too bad to race anywhere else. I can't get into it at all. The cars all look alike. There's never any lead passing or lead changes and they don't even look like cars

    Even if it's a little pricier I'd much rather have them for a year or 2 then let them opt out. You keep them in contract year production mode then dump them before they age out

    Avs traded MacDermid to New Jersey for a KHL 4th line center and a 7th rounder.. Avs needed cap space for other moves and I guess the Devils wanted someone to be Hughes' version of Marty McSorley

    Six years ago you could do the same with Rantanen but he's become a pretty good skater now although not terribly fast

    Lehkonen missed almost 40 games with a neck injury. Nichushkin is in player assistance. Tatar sucked. Miles wood missed 5 games with flu. Bednar loves Cogs and will give him those minutes when he's short handed. But now with Nichushkin coming back and Kovalenko coming when his KHL season finishes it's possible Cogs get some healthy scratches

    He's an upgrade on Hakanpaa but probably doesn't have the puck skills to be a huge difference maker. The Stars will get to keep that conditional 3rd rounder

    Routine is huge. Get up, eat, exercise at pretty close to the same time every day. Put on the blue light blockers in the evening. get some sunlight in your face in the morning so your body has a clue what time it is

    As long as Cogs stays in his 10 minute 4th line LW role he's great. High energy, great forechecking, solid PK. But when they try to push him up to even 12 or 13 minutes he loses effectiveness

    Vegas has to clear about 2.5 in cap space to bring Eichel back. They can do it by putting Stone on LTIR or both of Howden and Carrier. They may choose to stash Stone for the rest of the regular season and use his cap money to bring back Smith or go after Rico or even Guentzel but any of that means he's definitely done til the playoffs
