    I think that was one case where the head-first slide was warranted. I get that it's also dangerous, especially at home plate.

    I just want to recognize that Rendon made a great play just to get to that ball, and threw the two-hopper to second from the seat of his pants. But Rengifo should have caught that for the force out.

    As someone who has had many surgeries on his foot, I wish that I had had one today as an excuse to miss this clunker.
