Let’s say they also sign Bellinger. I will obviously be very optimistic and stoked—regardless of cost since I hate Arte. But is that even enough to get the angels to the playoffs? Probably not unless the stars align. 

If they sign Bellinger and Snell? That might be enough to get me back on the hype train. They’d need some good depth though, but there’s a chance with the current squad, as bleak as it currently seems. Who knows. Baseball is unpredictable.

Perry’s moves this offseason have been extremely puzzling. I’m not going to say this acquisition is good or bad, but I personally wonder how it really impacts the current team? I feel as if they should just rebuild at this point. They are significantly behind at player development and prospects not just as a high spending team, but in general. They just fucked up big time, and I don’t know if I should blame Perry in addition to Arte, but I’m still pissed about shohei.
