    Yepper. No one knows for certain. The consensus (whatever that may mean) seems to be a thumb to the throat was death and thumb down meant life. But, who knows. One interesting fact that surprises lots of people is that gladiators usually fought to first blood and that a gladiator could actually be charged with murder if he killed his opponent.

    Okay, in 2022 the Mariners win the division (F'kin Dipoto). The Angels are the top wildcard team and the other three are the Yankees, Astros, and Dodgers (moved to the American league as punishment for being pussies). Who do you pick?

    If the Pederson/Stripling trade goes through, he definitely gets an A. Eppler has remade both the pitching and the lineup in very positive directions. We are now a better team than we have been in a lot of years. After the upcoming season it may become the "Big 4."

    This made me curious. Does anyone know if Ausmus will still receive pay from the Angels if he signs with another team?

    It wouldn't surprise me to see Marsh have a better season than Adell. I think he will get a callup at some point and hit the ground running.

    https://www.mlb.com/news/best-pitchers-by-pitch-type-in-2019 They list Teheran's two seamer as the fourth best in baseball. I thought Bundy's slider might be listed but it was not. Anyone else on the Angels who might have made one of the lists? Who has a particularly nasty pitch?
